Maybe I missed something but did henk tell Cassie he is HIV positive or did she find she has it via blood test?

She found out from the blood test. Martha made up that all the bar staff had to have blood tests..

Ok.. so he didn't pretend she gave it to him then... He should have just told her when he got the results.. he didn't know he had it after all, it was just a test that was done when he was sick, he didn't know it was going to be done so technically he didn't give it to her known he had it.. hope the baby is fine

Think i read on here that the chances are low.. that the baby is protected in the womb so it might not have it

I agree he should of but you can see at the same time he was so scared and was trying to deal with it and think about it and if there was a chance she might not have it

As long as the mother's blood doesn't come into contact with the baby's then the baby will be ok. The mother can't breastfeed either because HIV is transmitted through body fluids.

Most women with HIV have a cesarean to minimise the risk to the baby.
