my dad is the only man i know that doesnt take a day off unless he really is unwell (and i mean really), he has the cold, flu he still goes to work because he is self employed and if he dont work he doesnt get paid so he actually gets the whole work ethic and he works his butt off unless he is really ill
every other guy i know take days off here and there for no gd reason, a sniffle - "oh baby im no well" hehe, A cough - "think ive got tonsilitis", men are actually quite amusing sometimes
