How Was Your Day? Numero Four-o

Good day. Got up at 11am. Had business this afternoon, me and my friend just sat talking. Had a laugh with our teacher. Teacher also said there is a business trip to New York that we could go on for £400 for five days. We probably wouldn't be able to go because we leave in May.

We can only do it because we're in year 13. They're in a lead container which has become radioactive due to the substances being in there 20 years. The science lab have a big cupboard with a skull and crossbones on it because there is a lot of radioactive things in there.

I don't know if we have to wear protective clothing or anything like that.

We did microscopy in Biology today... I looked at testis cells hehe..and cells from my cheek!... One of them looked like Stewie Griffin! Haha

Got my NY Cup and we were all sat in the Sixth Form Block singing to Busted and Avril Lavigne... how cool are we? Lol
Just got home from dancing... I'm so tired. I worked really hard tonight and actually listened... which isn't like me

We were supposed to look at testis cells. It was in the syllabus for the last unit but we never did it.

How did you get to look at your own cells? We aren't allowed because of the risk of contamination. We can't even take a swab from inside out cheek.

I am sure you do, on telly they always wear all in one suits from head to foot and gas masks You have to cover your bits when you have an x-ray taken as well, it is dangerous stuff and I am sure you will be well protected.

Haha I don't actually know why we were allowed... the cotton buds were fresh out of the box and they weren't touched by anyone but us.

In science weve done where you take a swab from your cheeck and tongue, and left it to see if anything grew lol, it was wuite good

This week has just been a joke. I'm having to pay out £3.40 for a bus every school day because I can't go in the taxi because I keep getting tearful over my Gran and having to sit around until what seems like Christmas to get home after dropping little kids off and waiting for them to get out of a primary school. Driver said he'd report me if I didn't change and I can't, I just feel like I want to rip his head off because he knew my Gran had died and said he didn't know why I was upset

Thursday and Friday we had an absolutely horrid driver who would have had points on his licence for the way he was driving if the police were there. Quite a few people were nearly falling off of their seats; I had to stand up with a file in my hand and it hurt so much and I fell into someone's seat and fell onto the floor at one point

Get home after that on Friday to find my best friend has gone into hospital. Begged Dad for 2 days to take me to the hospital to see her just once and he wouldn't do it I would have paid the ridiculous bus fares because I would have seen her, but the busses don't go that way One of her other friends is 18 and she can drive but she couldn't be bothered to go and see her which winds me up; my friend hates that hospital because her grandad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in there and the only visitors she got were her mum and step dad and she hates her stepdad.

Tomorrow I have to go to the doctors, because my mum thinks I might have depression. I woke up with a sore throat and headache this morning and I feel like I have a temperature. My balance is really bad when I'm ill and I have to walk all the way there and all the way back because my mum doesn't have the money for the bus I didn't even have the energy to get out of bed this morning.

Dad fell out with his sister over my Gran's estate, so now I don't have a chance of ever seeing my Great Aunt again because he won't drive me to see her because he hates her. He keeps telling me I need to get out more but I can't. I have no money to shell out for bus fares to see the friends I do have (most of them I'd have to get 2 busses to reach anyway) he doesn't seem to understand "I don't have any friends on this estate."

On the upside I did get one of the DVD's I ordered come today, so I have been watching that.
