You can get pills from the doctor, delaying your period. Don't know how soon you are going and how long before you would need to start taking them but probably would not hurt discussing this with the doc.
I'm going to Germany in 3 weeks. For four days. Guess what 
and that sucks because mine last 4 days. I think I might go to the doctor because I want to have a fun time not a crap one
