She's not "smitten" with Steven - she's married to Bradley remember - she cares about Steven and realises that he has problems and has given him her friendship which is really nice of her and she'll need a friend because I'm sure Bradley will probably walk out on finding out about Stax and Steven won't judge her.

I have sympathy for Steven and I'm glad Stacey was there for him though obviously what he did to Ian and family was wrong since he put everyone through so much worry while knowing all the time where Ian was. Anyway - back to Stacey and Bradley - Bradley did look a bit shocked didn't he? In that trailer I mean. Tanya just looked gutted. Stacey and Bradley are so well suited and I don't think they should throw their marrisge away just because of Max - from what I read Stacey and Max agree the past is truly the past.

The shooting was accidental I agree and he was unwell but still he has to live with what he's done and take some kind of responsibility for his actions.

I do think this should be kept a Steven free thread, if possible - there are other threads to post in! This is a Bradders and Stace one....

Fair enough - so d'you reckon Bradley and Tanya will support each other once Stax comes out? I think so. Did you see the BBC3 programme about affairs? In it they discussed Bracey - that's the first time Stacy has had a really solid relationship with anyone and they had that romantic candleit dinner thing and Stacey refused the wine because that time she didn't want to be drunk and so it was much more special. That programme was really good and though I understand why Stacey turned to Max Bradley di have everry right to split with her after she showed him up and it was a bit childish of her to come onto Max - but she's young. Max should have shown more responsibility.

I hope they do work through it. It will take a while but it would be refreshing for a couple to work through an issue and make the marriage work.

Usually I'd agree, but I just don't think Stacey deserves forgiveness especially from Bradley. I mean, it was his dad, not just some fella down the road or somthing. I just personally don't see how either of them should be forgiven.

Well Stacey did tell Bradley she did a terrible thing and some day Bradley would find out what a horrible person she really was and she hoped he could forgive her. Stacey may eventually be forgiven but i bet Bradley will be out for Max's blood. lol. Max had better watch out.

I do think Bradley and Tanya will become a lot closer once the Stax affair comes out. I can also see people in line to slap/punch Max one - Bradley, Sean, Tanya, Jean...and i'm sure Dot and Jim will have something to say as well.

I just hope Stacey doesn't get off lightly. Stacey shouldn't be eliminated from blame just because Max is a lot older than her and he should have took responsibility by saying "no" to Stacey when she tried it on in the first place.

True - She was as much to blame as he was. Max didn't exactly drag her to that hotel or wherever it was they went on his birthday. Sean was still annoyed at his sister though furious with Max - I mean it was a bit supid to come onto a married man to spite a man who split up with her. I mean hy? What's the point and she never really thought about how much she was hurting Tanya by it. There was a time when Max reminded her thatif they got caught they would hurt a lot of people and Stacey's reply was "So long as we don't get caught" which shos that she didn't think of how it would hurt not just Bradley but Tanya, the girls - everyone.

From what I can remember Max followed Stacey home to calm her down after a row or incident in the pub and they kissed (possibly more) in the kitchen. Was this the night that Stacey slapped Tanya, or it may have been the other way round.

This storyline has been going on for such a long time I can't remember what started it!

Well Bradley had this party at work. He lied and pretended that guests were not allowed. Stacey found out and went anyway and showed him up sohe finished with her. She started drinking and smashed up his car. Max found her and took her back to the Slaters to reason with her. She tried it on with him but that time he said no, he was married. She told him he wouldn't be able to resist for long though and she was right - he was too weak willed - Jake's a good actor but Max is a bit of a jellyfish.

Stacey found herself falling for Max. She got jealous of Tanya. Tanya accidentally spilt alcohol on Stacey. Stacey demanded a proper apology and they argued. The argument turned into a fight and Tanya slapped Stacey. Max and Sean forced them apart. Max took her back to the Slaters where they kissed etc and then pretended he would leave Tanya to placate Stacey. Max then made Stacey apologise to Tanya, who accepted her apology.

Watched the omnibus today. I notice Bradley is very open with Stacey about how he thinks and feels etc - like Stacey said he's not a "man" man whereas Max is not close to anyone - not even Tanya and is never straight about anything - not even about how he thinks/feels - a typical "man" man.
