What a shocker!!! totally expected Hope to be out

An absolute rubbish decision! What a travesty! Hope are hopeless and Beverley was a top class act! What was Sharon thinking!? I wish another of Simon's acts went.

I would have done the same as Sharon. No one can blame her for which one of them went, because it was purely down to the votes. Goes to show that she was thinking more about what the audience like, rather than her personal favourites.

I didn't like either of them much. Hope were worse tonight, but Beverly wouldn't have won the show, she was bound to go at some point.

I thought Sharon's decision would have been easy though to be honest - unless she thought Hope were actually good! A big difference in talent, in the bottom 2 in my opinion, but yeah i suppose she was going with what the public wanted..so I could understand where she was coming from in that respect..

It's just the fact that a first class talent has gone, over an overrated rubbish band in my opinion - the programme was designed around people like her, a person who didn't recognise their talent and didn't know how good they were. I think she had a good chance in winning , even though Rhydian is also a brilliant act - she could have definetly gone to the final, and possibly all the way.

She wouldn't have won though. And even if she did, who would buy her records? Look at the two biggest selling singles this year: Umbrella and Bleeding Love. Would she honestly come close to that? Would Niki? Because i very much doubt that if either of them win/had won, then they would be around for much more than 1 year.

As i've said before, it would be Steve all over again. People like them on the TV show, but buying their music is a very different ball game.

I dont think Hope are rubbish, they're not the best but at the same time they're not exactly rubbish. Girls Aloud are quite similar and they've been successful so why couldn't Hope be?

I'm saying Hope is rubbish as my personal opinion, everyone else could like them and they could sell loads of records...but the show is based on talent - it's what the show is all about and in my opinion, Beverley has more talent than Hope so Beverley should have stayed as a result.

but Abi's right, who would really buy Beverley's records? Most people prefer more of a catchy pop track these days
