Well, last night was another one where Emmerdale lost out to EastEnders in the ratings in yet another clash of the timings.
Emmerdale began at 7pm with 7.1m viewers, while EastEnders started 30 minutes later with 7.3m. However, at 7.45pm, Emmerdale dipped to 5.5m, while 'Enders hit 8.9m.
Admittedly there have been a few occasions when Emmerdale has come out on top, but how many more weeks will the ITV schedulers let this happen before they realise that it's a stupidly daft idea? There's no need for it.
