It's been said all along that Sharon would return at somepoint, was having this discussion with Siobhan and Dave, I think now is the right time for her to return.
I know a few of you, we all know who, dont like her, but she's always been a fan favourite, one of my favourites I know. To me she epitomises (sp?) Eastenders and it would be nice to see a familiar face return.
Give Ben and Phil a few months to bond and get over the whole Stella debacle, but after that I think Sharon should return and get together with Phil. They've got a past and care a lot for one another, it would seem like a wise move to get the pair together.
The Mitchell's are always at the forefront of the action in Eastenders, and by having a strong stable marraige such as Phil and Sharon, it could do the family and the show a whole lot of good. For once keep a couple together, rather than splitting them up! Prove that couples can last.
In regards to Ben, he'd get on well with Sharon, as Ian has a lot of trust in her, and she's a warm-hearted woman, who was always friends with Kathy. He needs a comforting female figure in his life following the Stella debacle.
To me it a very wise move to bring Sharon back to Eastenders and get her back with Phil. The time is now right.

here is a story line,, rumours spreading thru the square that there is a buyer for Scarlets and the buyer turns out to be Sharon,, she kicks out the Brannings cos the house and Scarlett are sold together,,
