omg face of boa (is that the right way to spell it?) i didnt see that one coming but then it doesnt make any sence - if he is jack then why doesnt he mention it ever to the doctor?? oh i suppose it will all be explained soon enough lol

and martha? i thought she wasnt leaving??? i was expecting that phone to ring as soon as he sent the tardis on its way but no, no phone call

Omg the finale!
Jack! Should have known he was the face of Bo when he said he could never die, after all Bo, is the oldest living thing, so old no-one knew what he was. Of course it had to be Jack!
Loved this ep, though to be honest, i havent enjoyed this series as much as the last, in all honesty i'm still mourning Rose!

Did Martha leave? I was a bit miffed by this, as she kind of did, but my friends saying the actress said she's not leaving.

Didnt cry in this ep, cried loads in last series finale. Though did go awww when David was crying.

My mum wasnt too impressed with The Master though, said he's nothing like he was before?

Overall, i was impressed!

im still in two minds about the ending:

John Simm was brilliant as the master i love that man!!!- was so funny when he was dancing around to the scissor sisters - infact the last two episodes have had a amazing soundtrack

David tennant was excellent - i nearly cried as the doctor held him in his arms

John Barrowman was class - the face of Bo - so funny

on the whole a excellent ending

the master somehow survives - the nail polish wearing hand at teh end that collected the ring??????/

I watched half of last weeks and when they said this was the final I had to watch it! As I never really watched it before I did not understand anything! Is the face of bo the face that died in that old London (I think) ep. which I also saw a bit of.. usually in a glass case thing? So confused..

I cried when Doc. was crying.. couldn't help it! Why did he want him to reginerate and stay with him though?

+ who what was going on with the fire and then someone with red nail varnish picked up a small object?.. What was going on with the Tardis?!

Hahaha, i loved this episode in the end!! The small doctor thing in the cage was slightly disturbing, very Lord of the Rings, but pretty cool design going on.

I reckon Martha will be back. They pretty much said so in the Confidential as well. I think they're getting rid of her for the Christmas Epi, so its just David and prob Kylie, and then she'll get picked up again at some point in series 4. There was a story saying something similar in the Mirror today as well, apparently. That the Doctor picks up another companion, and that Martha is like a part time one, like Jack but a bit more regular.

John Simm was fab, i loved him in it. And the whole Doctor rising up thing was very funky too.

I've loved this series. Mainly because Rose wasn't in it. I prefer Martha- she actually has some brains. And she has more depth to her, rather than just being thick.

I did like the episode, but I feel a little disappointed by it, I was hoping it would be edge of my seat stuff, but not really. Felt some parts were a bit silly.

However good acting all round though. Didn't really like the ending though..

i read that she will be popping up in the new series and making an appearence in torchwood - so it looks like there will be a new full time companion, it was also hinted at in the confidential show on bbc3 that the character was used to help the doctor get over rose - kind of like a rebound
