I can't see anywhere where tammy said Jane had an abortion. She said Jane "killed/murdered a child". It seems quite shocking to me.

There was rumours going round Digital Spy a while ago saying Jane accidentally killed a child when she was a child and was forced to go under a new identity, and this is her secret, but i don't know how true that is.

If that is true, that sounds really good.. (not in that way) but at last we would have decent secret and not some stupid one.. Mind you we are suppose to find out Stella's secret too.. is it possible that she is the one who killed a child when she was a kid?? I would be more inclined to believe that...

hi i think its has something to do with jane being bullied as a child about her weight i read somewhere she was overweight as a child and got bullied she changed her name when she lost weight

Jane and Ian get married at long last in a hush-hush ceremony ­ but only after Jane almost calls it off!
Emotional Jane storms out in a huff after a thoughtless joke from Ian drags up old memories of the bullies who made Jane's teens hell. But Ian talks her round and their secret wedding goes ahead.
"Jane loves Ian," says Laurie Brett, who plays her. "But he can be infuriating. He pokes fun at her pal Heather for being large, which brings back Jane's unhappiest years."
As the week kicks off, Ian and Jane are making secret wedding plans. No one else knows except their witnesses ­ Heather and Ian's colleague, Norman.
But then, in the cafe, Ian tactlessly tells Jane to stay off the cakes or she'll end up like hefty Heather.
"Jane is sickened and rushes off," adds Laurie. "Ian finds her in the park, where Jane explains to him that she was fat as a girl and got teased by bullies."
Mortified Ian goes down on one knee and begs her to go through with the wedding.
"Jane realises she over-reacted," says Laurie. "It's a happy ending after all."
