Spoilers a bit brief at the moment probably because ITV are rewriting the child abduction story in light of the tragic events in the Algarve


Sunday 20th May 2007 Leanne tries to reason with Liam about Paul's dislike of her. Deirdre is desperate as Ken places his relationship with Daniel before her. Liz continues to play away.

Monday 21st May

Michelle and Steve struggle to get a moment alone together. As her feelings for Liam grow, Leanne starts to reconsider her career. Deirdre is distraught as Ken continues with his new life.

Fiz drops a bombshell at her meeting with John. Liam has a proposition for Leanne. Michelle decides to surprise Steve at work.

Friday 25th
Maria reckons that Fiz needs to be honest with Kirk about John. Liz goes to spy on Derek's wife. Leanne continues to lead the high life with Carla.

I think it's great Michelle and Steve are getting together also think Leanne and Carla act well alongside each other it's nice to see them both get a friend instead of just acting alongside there on screen family.

Claire is left unconcious at the bottom of her stairs, overhelmed by the fire's smoke. Roy calls the fire brigade from the street as the blaze rages out of control. As a crowd gathers, Jamie and Kirk kick the Peacocks' door down and drag Claire from the house.

With Claire safe, Jamie goes back into the house with Roy and Jerry to try and rescue Freddie but to no avail. The fire fighters then arrive and put out the blaze but will they reach Freddie in time? The whole street is in shock as Claire is taken to hospital and the neighbours desperately try to contact Ashley. Will Freddie survive the blaze?

Deirdre visits Ken at Denise's home. She tells him the fire has made her see how important Ken is to her. But Ken feels like their relationship is over and that Daniel can be a new start for him. As Ken lets her leave, determined to put his relationship with Daniel first, how will Deirdre react to his new found determination?

Elsewhere, Derek and Liz continue their affair at Derek's secret flat.

Liam asks Leanne if Paul knew about her losing her job and that's why he doesn't like her. But is he satisfied with her answers?

Monday

Liam asks Leanne to meet up with him for lunch but she tells him she can't as she's meeting a friend. Janice isn't happy at this as she knows she means a client. But before the lunch, Leanne makes a call and quits her job.

Janice is delighted and smashes Leanne's phone against the wall. Leanne decides to meet Liam in the Rovers to which he is delighted, but will this be the end of Leanne's lies?

Elsewhere, Michelle and Steve continue to struggle to find time to meet up with each other.

And Deirdre is upset that Ken doesn't seem to be suffering as much as she is.

Kirk is being treated like a hero following the fire and Cilla thinks he should cash in on his story.

Michelle decides to go the cab office to surprise Steve. She brings some wine for them to share but they don't get a minute together. Once they finally do, Lloyd rushes into the office and tells them what has happened to Freddie. Will Michelle ever get any time to be alone with Steve?

And Fiz tells John that she has left Kirk because she knew she didn't love him like she loved John in the past.


Friday

Carla calls on Leanne to take her to lunch. Carla is surprised to see the kind of flat that Leanne stays in, not making Janice very happy. Janice warns Leanne she can't keep up with the likes of Carla. But at lunch Carla mentions that the restaurant they are eating at is up for sale. She tries to convince Leanne that they should both buy the restaurant. How will Leanne react?

Liz decides to check out the competition and drags Deirdre to see Derek's wife Linda at the Red Lion pub. Liz starts a conversation with Linda. After they leave Linda thinks Liz has been trying to chat her up.

Fiz invites John to dinner. Over a take away they start to kiss until Maria walks in. She is livid and tells Fiz she needs to tell Kirk before he hears it from someone else.

Violet meets up once again with Gary, but will he be scared off by her constant talk of wanting babies?
