Did you have another module recently then, Dave? How come you did foundation in Geography when you got a B in the mock?
Yep i did Kim, and i think i've done quite bad on it! My mock GCSE apparently was really easily, i write too slow apparently and in the foundation you don't have to write as much as you do in the higher paper, so she said writing slow (like me) wouldn't be a problem if i took foundation.
Also the Mock GCSE i did was easier than the actual GCSE you have to sit according to my teacher so i should have had a C and the paper i sat for my mock was a combination of foundation/higher paper.
I'm sure you haven't, Dave. I thought I failed the two modules that I did in November. There's always going to be a topic you don't do as well in, I think. I'm going to slip up big time when I have to do Physics.
I thought all papers were like that: The last few on foundation the same as the first few on higher.
I got my Science and Geography results back today, i got 2 C's just what i wanted so am very happy about that!
Strangely though, i did a French reading paper today in class under exam conditions and it was a higher paper and i was one mark off an A on it. And in my mock in January, i got a D when i sat the higher paper. Very weird!![]()
Well, maybe you should ask for more practise papers then, just to make sure the one in your mock was just an off day. Well done on the 2C's![]()
arggh! i had my science modules this morning....not good!
found chemistary the hardest then biology, then physics. to me at the moment it looks as though i will proberly be resting the chemistary one.

I had mine too, but as my school doesn't do triple science I only had 2, which were Evolution and Environment and Oils, Earth and Atmosphere. I found Biology easy which was good as it calmed me down before I had to sit the chemistry one. Some parts were easy, but there was this question that I think the examiner must have been half asleep when they wrote, which really put me off, together with messing up the grid (again!) For some random reason we had to write our details on the front of the question paper which we weren't even writing in. I think I've done better this time which is good as I did well in my November modules. Now got 2 physics modules in June ... here's where I start failing...
hiya
we had our science things today aswell and Kim we had different to you we have oils, earth and atmosphere but we also had a physics one energy and electicity
i think i have done crap in both of them as on the first one which was physics i didnt even finish in the amount of time so about 10 of the circles i had to just pick a random circle to colour and i didnt even no any in the time we had and on the chemistry one i think thatwent a bit better but i still didnt no any of it
take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints and kill nothing but time
