Well, I've just come back from school highly chuffed. C had a reading assessment today (he is in Reception) and he has gone up 5 book levels!! Some of the children in Year 4 aren't apparently up to that level yet!!! I'm in total shock, but so proud and chuffed....

Well, he only started school in January, and went up to level 4 or 5 or something straightaway and now shes moved him up even more, so I think it puts him on level 8 or 9, something like that.

He's going the same route as Ste, so obviously has my brains again (of course )

The only problem with being bright though, is so much is expected of you - I had it and went one way, now Ste is having it at school, with them wanting him to take his GCSE's (a couple of them anyway) a year early and it causes a lot of pressure on them in that sense.

    Still proper chuffed though

yeah but sometimes a GCSE a year early takes the pressure of for Year 11. I noticed that when you get to college if you are bright and your GScore is high (an average number based on your GCSEs i.e A = 9 points) you have to do five AS levels which i dont think is fair as they should have the right to choose as well.

I can't believe my mum sent me to school today. My back is killing me, so having to carry a great fat science book around, plus all of my other books; didn't help matters. I was literally falling into the classes and could barely walk after having to sit down for an hour at a time. I also have a headache, sore throat (had to go without a drink in classes) and I'm coughing my guts up.

I found out that one of the bullies is leaving the school, but she wound me up before she said that, so I either said, "*********g good job!" or, "About *********g time!" Unfortunately she isn't the one I would choose to boot if I had the choice, and every time I turn round this boy is there.

Not impressed also as I got some coursework back and was a stupid few marks off of the next grade, again! Thus, I hate controlled coursework as I feel rushed when I'm doing it, and people put me off. For that subject the other classes take theirs home, so it's annoying.

    What a painful day
I been moaning about it all day
I have really bad toothache. Woke me up at 4 this morning (And I went at 3 ) Couldn't get back to sleep, cause it was so painful, tried 3 paraceatemol before 7 I think, and a few gargles of salty water. But nothing worked. It calms down every now and again, but still constantly there Perhaps dentist for Leanne tomorrow
