He is. All of those characters were gone about 5 years after that. Although of course Harold and Madge returned, as did Gail a few months ago.

Yeah, and Paul who disappeared for many years.. I believe my mum said he was one of the orignal characters?

I didn't see Paul in the video.
Paul was indeed an original character back in the beginning, and is the only original character left in the show now. He is actually the first original character on-screen in Neighbours since Helen Daniels died in 1997. Harold and Madge only joined 18 months after Neighbours started.
Paul left in 1993 after going on the run (locked up off-screen IIRC).
