Agree with you there Alan - lets keep on topic please Smithysgirl. Some great spoilers have been posted, lets discuss them rather than try and put Neil and Sam together in each post - Many thanks

    Heres some spoilers

    Spoiler:
    Episode 483
Sam invites James into the station and talks to him in the canteen. She suggests that the anniversary of Amy's disappearance is a good time to jog the publics memories. Neil finds them and is understandably upset. Sam said they discussed the case - Neil reminds her that they never discussed her going behind his back to talk to James. She responds with "Well, maybe we work differently." Roger and Smithy get caught up in gunfire and for some reason Kezia is stood behind the gunman. Sadly it doesn't look like he turns and shoots her.

    Episode 484
James holds a memorial service for his missing daughter, Amy. Neil confronts Sam and asks if she said there was a good chance they'd get a strong lead out of the service. She twists it and insists she only said there was a chance. It looks as though Neil and Sam later find a body. Sam 'comforts' (if you can call it that ) Neil saying that even if it turns out for the worse, it's not his fault.

    Episode 485
Neil and Sam run along Brighton pier looking for Amy. James isn't happy - after apparently finding Amy, they've lost her again and now the person holding Amy, or Amy herself knows that they're on to her. Neil knows how close they are to finding her and is frustrated with drawing a blank.

I like Kezia she is a great character and a good love interest for Smithy.

Seems Sam and Neil are already arguing over how to handle the case. Hmm, not sure if I'm going to like Sam being DI if she's going to do this all the time.

It could be a female rapist, although I think it's more likely to be a man. Saying that though, they did do a male rape storyline which is different as its sterotypically women who get raped so they could maybe do a female rapist line.

Rereading the OP, it says "good teamwork is used." How would that fit in with rape?

So, the station is safe, a male character is involved and the team pull together. Could the team be uniform, CID or both? Maybe if its a huge storyline it would be both. I don't think it would be an undercover job with drugs as we have just had that. No prostitution either.

So no drugs, no prostitutes and no undercover work and possibly no rape, considering the team pull together. What else could it be

Dread to think what she'll be like if her darling daughter comes back.
Where did Abi disappear to anyway?
