Theres only one person that truly knows whats going to happen, and shes probably still unsure about some parts, but shes always had the end written and thats JK. I wonder if it will be the 7/7/07 release though

I don't think it will be 7/7/07 as she hasn't finished writing it yet. Add into that editing which can take a while and then publishing, I recon its going to be about september/october

I think RAB is Regulas Black, Sirius' brother. If you remember it was the locket in the bowl of liquid that Dublebore had to drink. Cast your mind back to book 4/5, I can't remember which. Do you remember when Sirius was cleaning out the Phoenix HQ and he came across a heavy locket that was unopenable in a cupboard? I'm thinking is it the same locket? Regulas is the only significant person in the books tht I can think of with the initials. Yes, I know he is a long time dead but it is possible.

It also means, that whoever RAB is, sombody else knows about the horcrux's. Dumbledore needed Harry's help to get into the cave, get across the water, drink the liquid and then get back across the water and out of the cave. RAB could not have done that on his own. So that begs the question, how many others know about the horcurx's?

* Where did Snape and Draco go at the end of the sixth book?
* Assuming Hogwarts stays open, will the curse that Voldemort presumably placed on the DADA position ever be lifted?
* Who did R.A.B. get the locket from the cave with? (Dumbledore made it clear that two people were needed to get past Voldemort's enchantments) And where is the locket now?
* JKR said that someone will manage magic very late in life in Book 7 - who is it going to be? Filch, perhaps?
* When Harry was taking Occlumency lessons from Snape in OOTP, he put more than one memory into the pensieve. What other memories did he want to hide from Harry?
* When Snape is about to kill Dumbledore, Dumbledore says, "Severus... Please..." Was Dumbledore asking Snape to kill him or was he asking for mercy?
* What was the potion that Dumbledore had to drink in the cave?
* How will Harry find his parents' home in Godric's Hollow? After all, Wormtail is the secret-keeper, and as far as we know the only way to find the home would be for Wormtail to tell Harry its location.
* Do we know the full reason that Voldemort decided to try to kill Harry instead of Neville?
* How did Hagrid retrieve Harry from the ruins of his parents' house if he was not told the location by the secret-keeper?
* Now that Dumbledore's dead, who is the secret-keeper of the Order of the Phoenix? Is the spell broken?
* Is there more to the curtain that Sirius fell through in Order of the Phoenix?
* Why did Dumbledore give Snape the DADA job?
* Will Voldemort be angry that Snape killed Dumbledore rather than letting Draco go through with the job?
* When Dumbledore is explaining to the Dursley's that the magic protecting Harry will cease to operate on his 17th birthday, each of the Dursley's reactions are given, and it says that Aunt Petunia "was oddly flushed." What is the significance of that? Does she know something more?

Just finished reading Half Blood Prince and it's occured to me that two people would be needed to get into the cave and get the horcrux (Dumbledore said it was virtually impossible for one to do it alone). The boat they used would only take the magical weight of one qualified wizard so whoever RAB is, he had an acomplice that was underage.

The last instalment of the Harry Potter saga will be published on 21 July, author JK Rowling has announced.

She confirmed the date fans will be able to get their hands on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on her website.

Rowling has said two characters die in the final instalment and fans will want to know if Harry is one of them.

The Potter books have sold 325 million copies worldwide, have been translated into 64 languages and spawned five blockbuster movies.

This is the 10th anniversary of the first book of the hugely successful series being published.

Shops opened at midnight and queues formed when the last book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, was released.

It sold 2,009,574 copies in Britain on the first day of its release, publisher Bloomsbury said.

The firm said it would publish a children's hardback edition, an adult hardback, a special gift edition and an audio book on the same day.

I can't wait, but also don't want it to come out in some ways too as its the last one. Lets hope JK has given HP the ending it deserves!
