They can live anywhere between 5 and 7 years plus though, so thats a good age! Mine were both 5, Dom died about 6 weeks ago and Dick yesterday.

we arent that horrible, ,lol. There was once when we accidently forgot to feed it and it still hung on for about three days. It sounds really bad but its a nice pet its just the others died after about 3 years, average time i thought but not this one. Were not bad owners the RSPCA havent been round. Not Yet anyway.

Dick and Dom are such cool names. The one thats we had two origionally but thebn one died so my sister wanted another one so it wouldnt be lonely. The one thats left is the one we bought after. My mum wouldnt get another one as it would be an awful long cycle you would have to keep replcing them. Even the Cat has had a go to try and scare it to death. It will sit on top of the cage and put its paws down to try and scratch it and the guine pig just looks as it as if to say, im here to stay mate.

Phew that ok now. I had a hamster that lived for a 1year and a half whereas my brother had two that only lasted a few months, it was very strange.

It was Dick and Dom in the Rabbit Hutch (instead of bungalow )

We had the two boys, and after discussion with the place we got them, decided to not replace Dom as Dick would have probably have gone for it, because they were so well established already. My problem too, was this year was the first year they were housed outside for the colder months, because of Liam. Normally I would have brought them in but I didn't this year in case of little fingers . They said that it was more likely age than cold though, as I'd covered the cage with a blanket, and a waterproof cover, aswell as having hay filling it etc.

Hamsters are weird though, i think they depend on the pet shop as i had one that lasted about a day, and my mates lasted a day as well from the same petshop. We told them and they gave us another on that lasted a year, oh and my other hamster i had when i was little, houdini, got lost. Went into the sofa bed lining never top be seen again. :sob.

we keep ours inside outside my room. We did try outside, but the cage got in the way as its not very big.

We lost our eldests hamster for a week - could hear her scratching around above the bathroom etc. Put out a bucket and some steps made out of dvd's and books leading up to it, with a blanket in the bottom for a soft landing, some food and some treats, within 2 days, she was in the bucket and safe again

went to see City win there third consecutive game yesterday. it was great apart from being Very hungover. My dad had no sympathy as it was all self inflicted. Its not fair he drank way more than me and had no hangover whatso ever.

today, i keep coming on here for a bit of sanity as i have been doing my geography coursework none stop.

Only a wek left before college and Exams. HELP.
