    Of all the places that two crash helmeted thugs would walk into and carry out a daylight robbery, a hotel, must surely be one of the most unlikely. Almost everyone who stays in a hotel pays by card, so it is unlikely that their would be lots of cash in the safe. If Kit does not suspect stupid Carl, he should have his detectives badge taken from him.

    A bit OTT, I think, just a means of causing trouble in her marriage.
    The way the whole street never seems to stop talking about Billy is unreal, especially free and cheap drinks in the pub. As if they all do not have enough going on in their own lives.

    I would assume that a large proportion of those their were his parishioners, not people we would normally see.
