Even though Lewis is autistic his stress level seems to have risen very fast. Is this the same Lewis who successfully grew cannabis in his loft and managed to fit an automatic CCTV warning system? Not at all stressful. Another case I think of a character changing to fit the story.

Twwwwaaaaaang - that was the sound of my imagination snapping, as I tried to stretch it far enough to believe this. I know they want us to believe this but I just cannot manage to do so.

Bear is not a fool, he is not an illegal immigrant, he knows Moira, and he knows people who work for her. He knows that they are paid wages, not just given food and a filthy shed to sleep in, and they are free to leave the farm, if they wish to. Yet we are expected to believe that he thinks Ray is a good guy who is looking after him.

Yes it does seem that credibility has been stretched much to far.

They are not given the wages though, are they.. the wages are being kept safe, the same as any id...bear seems to be suffering from some kind of mental breakdown, he is not thinking clearly. We do not know how all of a sudden there are all these other workers there now, where they have come from.. unless I missed a bit.. but they are scared of Joe and will do extra work even when they are exhausted..
