I thought he worked as a scaffolder for a company rather than owning the company but might have got that wrong... wish Theo would get a decent haircut .. the curly bit is particularly irritating...

He owns his own scaffolding firm - Silverton Scaffolding. Though where it is based exactly is another matter!

It appears that Costello is a bent copper and Becky knows it or is involved in that as well...I never took to DS Swain or her daughter, this storyline is not changing my mind

Still do not understand why he is fitting up Betsy, this seems to be as a result off the video going on line. But it is involving more people and drawing attention to her. Unless it is to exert pressure on Becky to disappear. I do not mind Betsy so much but the two mothers ........

Sorry to quote my own post, but the thought has just occurred to me that perhaps he commutes to work. Gasp! Shock! Horror!

There is a Silverton village in Devon, near Exeter, so he would definitely need a car if he is commuting from there.
