I am puzzled as to what Sally is trying to achieve here, does she want Trisha to go to prison?

What a stroke of luck that Sally just happened to be in Roy's Rolls when Kevin came in to see Abi and Carl about Alfie. Especially as we all know Corrie doesn't do coincidences.

I reckon, if a woman comes from your husband's past, it can only give a bittersweet taste if you know nothing of it and she's a "Cougar"!!
Especially if he can't see anything wrong with her, I guess Sally is trying to process it.
If you don't like me, remember its mind over matter.
    I don't mind and you don't matter😏

I can understand Sally feeling jealous and insecure, but I do not understand why she wants to convince Tim that he was abused. How will that benefit Tim, will he then need therapy?

They are obviously showing how child abuse can have long term effects lasting to much later in life but Tim is quite proud to have had his first sexual experience at 14 with an "older" woman and so far has never shown any indication that he was traumatised but then we would not have seen this being portrayed, I guess. Maybe that is yet to come. Also, abuse victims are not always aware that they were abused. Maybe they are trying to show that abusers can face charges much later in life to encourage victims that do suffer from mental health issues from abuse that happened many years ago..
