    Exclamation Emmerdale Spoilers 1st - 5th September 2025

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emm...john-sinister/

Emmerdale's John Sugden spikes Aaron Dingle's drink next week as the villain's storyline takes another dark turn.

The sly schemer is plotting to make his new husband totally dependent on him, but will Aaron figure out what's going on?

"John offers Aaron a whisky which he used to have with his mum. As Aaron wants to appease John, he takes it, not noticing that John doesn't have a drink," reveals Danny Miller, who plays the village favourite.

"Aaron's so in love that he doesn't have a clue what John's doing. Then, when John nips out, Aaron decides to have a little bit more whisky, not realising what might be in the drink?"

John takes his drastic action despite the fact that he appears to be getting everything he wants when it comes to Aaron.

As the week begins, Aaron tells Chas that he and John are definitely moving away. Naturally, this saddens his mum while pleasing John, who wants to escape his many crimes.

However, when word of the move gets to Robert Sugden, he furiously storms in on Aaron to try and convince him that he's making the wrong choice. As old feelings fly and tension builds, Robert insists that their connection is still alive and he leans in to kiss his ex-husband.

"It's Robert's last-ditch attempt to save Aaron from making the biggest mistake of his life," explains Danny.

"This is his attempt to get Aaron to stay and have that fairytale ending where John goes off into the distance, Aaron gets back with Robert, and they all live happily ever after."

While Aaron rejects Robert, it's clear that he is starting to have his own suspicions about John. When Charity Dingle considers contacting the police about her husband Mack's disappearance, John squirms, makes his excuses and bolts, leaving Aaron questioning his bizarre behaviour?

"John keeps nipping out quite a lot and I think Aaron starts to realise that there's stuff going on that he doesn't know about," Danny explains. "He's got Mackenzie and Robert's voices in the back of his head and he's really trying to ignore all that, because he wants it to work with John."

Meanwhile, John is starting to sense that his husband might be slipping away from him, so when the pair head back to the cottage they plan to make their new home, he decides to make the move with the whisky. `

Feeling woozy from his first glass, Aaron pours another away from John's watchful eye ? but could the extra dose spell deadly danger considering Nate was killed by an accidental overdose at John's hand?

"Aaron has no idea just how dangerous of a situation he's in at that cottage with John, because John's got him all to himself," adds Danny. ?I don't think John even knows what he wants to do, but he does know that he doesn't want to lose the battle for Aaron to Robert??

Will this potentially lethal situation result in a tragic end for Aaron ? and another murder victim for John?

Emmerdale's April Windsor has a knife pulled on her in dramatic scenes next week.

The shocking incident occurs as she attempts to deliver illegal drugs on behalf of her boyfriend, Dylan Penders.

"April is shaken to the core. She only wants to help Dylan, but by doing so, she finds herself in a situation that could cost her life," our Emmerdale insider explains.

"After arriving at the car park on her own, a menacing man turns up out of nowhere and demands that she hand over the goods. April is reluctant to give in, but there's no other option when she sees the unmistakeable glint of a knife in her attacker's hand."

It's after Ray piles the pressure on Dylan to complete another criminal job that April puts herself forward to do it in his place. But when the vulnerable youngster arrives at a local car park to drop off the stash, she is suddenly accosted by the hooded figure.

Following the traumatic incident, April returns to the village to be comforted by Dylan. For April's sake, Dylan tries his best to make out that Ray will be understanding of her losing the drugs, but he secretly feels deeply concerned about what they could have coming.

Meanwhile, Paddy discovers that Dylan never arrived at the hostel, which Paddy had coughed up cash for him to stay at. Worried for his safety, the compassionate vet becomes determined to move the teenager back in with him.

But even if Paddy can convince Dylan to call Tenants home, he will find himself meeting some serious resistance from the rest of the village given Chas and Moira Dingle know of Dylan's involvement in the Butlers Farm break-in.

"Paddy feels very protective over Dylan," our source adds. "Ever since he helped treat up that nasty leg wound at the clinic, Paddy has seen that Dylan isn't the troublemaker that people first thought he was."

Paddy's kindness isn't welcomed by everyone ? in fact, Chas still feels totally outraged when she hears her ex's plan to put a roof over Dylan's head.

With Liam Cavanagh still owning Paddy and Mandy's pad, Chas goes as far as to urge her fianc? to evict the couple, which would also leave Dylan homeless again.

But for the moment, Dylan's main worry is Ray, as he and April visit the woods to covertly meet up with him and confess that they lost his batch of drugs.

Will Ray offer mercy to the terrified teenagers? Or will he make them pay for failing to accomplish his evil mission?

So now having got everything he wants John decides to start on Aaron and put his life in jeopardy too. Is this really the best that the scriptwriters can come up with? This whole story has now been reduced to an extremely unbelievable farce.

April Windsor is desperate to get back in her friend Dylan Penders's good books

April almost wrecked her friendship with Dylan after telling her dad Marlon and family friend, Paddy Kirk about the teenager's past involvement with sex work to pay for his drug addiction.

With dodgy drug dealer Ray Walters now in the picture, Dylan is pressured into doing another risky job.

However, this time April volunteers to take on the task instead!

April arrives in a car park to do a drugs drop-off.

But the teenager gets a scare when a hooded man follows her and threatens her with a knife!

He demands that she hands over the bag containing the illegal drugs... or else!

Afraid for her life, April reluctantly gives the bag to the knife-wielding thief and runs off.

When a shaken April later tells Dylan what went down in the car park, they are both worried about how Ray will react when he finds out his drugs have been stolen.

We already get the sense that Ray is NOT a man that you want to mess with...

    Tuesday

Tracy Shankley has sunk into the depths of despair since she found out about the MURDER of her ex-husband, Nate Robinson

Nate's dead body was found in a lake earlier this year, months after he went missing.

But so far, only Mackenzie Boyd has worked out that it was killer John Sugden who was responsible for Nate's death...

And now Mackenzie has gone missing!

Tracy confides in village doctor Liam Cavanagh about her bouts of depression.

And her worries over being a single parent to her and Nate's young daughter, Frankie.

Liam suggests shop assistant Tracy might benefit from more counselling sessions.

But Liam also sets Tracy's mind wondering when he questions whether Owen Michaels, who John secretly framed for his crime, was really behind Nate's death...

April Windsor and Dylan Penders) are worried about how drug dealer, Ray Walters , is going to react to their news.

The teenagers secretly meet drug dealer Ray in the woods, where they reveal how April was threatened at knife point to hand over the bag containing Ray's latest stash of illegal drugs...

    Will Ray turn nasty?

MEANWHILE, Paddy Kirk is disappointed to discover that Dylan has not checked into the hostel he paid for.

Despite all the trouble the lad has previously landed himself in, village vet Paddy does not want to see Dylan back sleeping rough on the streets again.

However, when Paddy reveals he is going to invite Dylan to move back into Tenant House, his ex-wife Chas Dingle kicks off!

    Wednesday

Aaron Dingle is planning to leave the village for a fresh start with his husband, John Sugden

It's just too bad that Aaron still doesn't realise that he has married a MURDERER!

John's brother Robertwho was recently released from prison, is frustrated when he finds out his ex-husband Aaron is going to move into John's childhood home.

Robert reckons Aaron is making a BIG mistake.

Especially as the exes recently hooked-up and there's clearly still chemistry between them!

As Aaron begins to pack-up his belongings at his apartment, Robert interrupts and moves in for a kiss!

    Will mixed-up Aaron respond?

Charity Dingle fears that her marriage to Mackenzie Boyd is over.

Charity is devastated after receiving a voicemail message from Mack.

She's convinced his departure is connected to the fact that she recently had a one-night stand with ex-lover, Ross Barton

And might now be pregnant with his baby!

But Charity remains unaware that Mack's sudden disappearance is down to farmhand John...

Mack was recently seen running for his life in the woods after figuring out the truth about KILLER John...

    Thursday

John Sugden has convinced his husband, Aaron Dingle to pack his bags and leave the village together

John wants the couple to move into his former childhood home.

But could it be that John also wants to take Aaron away from the temptation of his ex-husband/John's brother, Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley)?

Robert was recently released from prison and has returned to make another play for Aaron!

However, John's plans take a sinister turn when he secretly spikes a bottle of whisky.

And then convinces an unsuspecting Aaron to drink from it...

WHY is John trying to get Aaron into a drugged out state?

While John heads out to collect firewood ready for a cosy night in, Aaron continues to drink from the drugged bottle, unaware that he is in DANGER!

Charity Dingleand Tracy Shankley find some common ground when they chat about runaway husbands.

Charity realises it is only a matter of time before she will have to tell her son Moses that his stepdad, Mackenzie Boyd, has left the village and isn't coming back.

However, when Charity reveals to Tracy how Mack ended things between them via a voicemail message, she is spooked.

That's exactly what happened when Tracy's ex-husband, Nate Robinson, went missing.

And look how that turned out!

WHAT exactly has happened to missing Mack after his scary encounter with killer John in the woods?

    Friday

Aaron Dingle is on a holiday getaway to a secluded cottage with his husband, John Sugden

But unfortunately, he doesn't realise that John has something SINISTER planned, after convincing Aaron to drink from a drugged bottle of whisky...

Aaron's ex-husband/John's brother, Robert Sugden has already tried to convince him that they still belong together.

Earlier in the week, Robert left Aaron all mixed-up when he kissed him in an attempt to convince him not to pack-up and leave the village with John!

"Aaron just thinks it's the same old Robert from years ago, who often tried to manipulate the situation in his favour,

"It's Robert's attempt to get him to stay in the village and have their fairytale ending. But Aaron has decided he is going to make a go of his marriage to John. He can't keep living like this. If Robert's in the village then Aaron is going..."

Paddy Kirk makes a worrying discovery that leads him to a SHOCK realisation...

Could it be that Paddy is the next villager, after Mackenzie Boyd to figure out that John is a murderer?

But if so, will it be in time to save Aaron from whatever it is that John is planning at the secluded cottage in the woods?

John is running out of options and the net is starting to close in on him, He's not really got an escape route. Up until now Aaron has had no idea just how dangerous John is. So now here he is in a cottage with just John..."

Emmerdale has lined up a "terrifying" discovery for Paddy Dingle which could lead to John Sugden's downfall.

After seemingly getting one more murder under his belt (RIP Mackenzie Boyd), villain John is preparing to make his great escape from the village. Together with his husband Aaron Dingle, John believes he can put his crimes in his rear view mirror and begin a new life.

However, the medic might not get his happily ever after, as a shocking discovery could reveal his sinister actions.

Next week's episodes will see Paddy Dingle coming to a "terrifying" realisation while scrolling on his laptop.

Though it's unclear what exactly he will find, the mysterious information could be linked to John, who unknowingly shared his guilty conscience with Paddy via an anonymous online helpline.

"Paddy's shock discovery could relate to a couple of ongoing storylines," our Emmerdale source points out.

"Recently, we've seen the village vet volunteering on a helpline in his spare time ? but guilty John Sugden was one of the people he was chatting to. Is he about to put the pieces of the puzzle together and realise Aaron is in danger with John?

"Paddy is also currently oblivious to how his father Bear is homeless and alone, rather than staying with a friend as he claimed when he left the village. Could he realise what's going on?"

Meanwhile, it's not just Paddy who could foil John's upcoming escape plans, as Aaron will also grow suspicious of his husband next week. When Charity Dingle considers contacting the police about Mack's disappearance, Aaron notices John's guilty reaction.

Is time running out for the villain?

He wants Aaron to be in awe of him by rescuing his life like he did Chas and Jacob etc... ??? If Aaron were to decide to leave for whatever reason, he would be able to emotionally blackmail him.. ??? I do not know where this particular incident is meant to lead to, to be honest..
