I was a bit confused by tonight's episode. At one point, Adam and Dee-Dee were discussing alterations to their office. Wouldn't they need Roy's permission for that?

Yes, they may have an office somewhere, but they carry out all their business, including talking about confidential items with clients, in Roy's cafe.

The whole ?6,000 fiasco with Aadi is and always has been complete nonsense but just one final point before it disappears altogether with the leaving of Auntie Rani. I don't really understand why Bernie had to stint on absolutely everything, including Dev & Aadi's suits. She still had ?19,000 to play with, even if ?6,000 was going to be "lost" somewhere. That seems quite enough to me to be able to hire good suits and pay for a lot of other stuff.
