Theo Silverton lashes out in a fit of despair

Theo Silverton is devastated when Todd shows him a photo of Theo’s family on a leaflet promoting "Traditional Family Values" at Noah’s church.

He stands Todd up for a lunch date, and in a fit of rage, he trashes the builder's yard. Gary returns and is horrified by what he sees, but is this just the beginning of Theo’s downward spiral?

Amy finds a desolate Aadi on the bench in Victoria Garden. She pulls him in for a hug and assures him that he’s a lovely guy and she knows he never meant to harm.

Back at No.1, Aadi admits to Amy that he wishes they were more than friends and the pair kiss passionately when she admits that she feels the same way.

As a post-coital Aadi and Amy head back towards No.7, Jess approaches and tells Aadi that she’s taking him in for questioning.

Carla and Lisa attend a life drawing class together but the evening is brought to a halt with another Betsy drama.

At the factory, Betsy reluctantly shows Carla the vest tops she’s been working on and how she inadvertently printed the wrong logo on them. How will Carla react?

Later, Ryan is thrilled when Carla confides that she’s going to propose to Lisa.

Steve calls at the flower shop with Cassie in tow and reveals that his solicitor has received a copy of the Preston Petals valuation and he wants what’s rightfully his. Tracy’s fuming and is certain Amy is behind the email.

At No.1, Steve packs his bag and announces that he’s moving out until the divorce comes through as he’s sick of the infighting.

At No.11, George shows Glenda his new clothes and sheepishly admits he’s agreed to a date with a lady called Samantha.

Samantha and Glenda are taken aback to recognise each other from primary school and as they excitedly pull each other in for a hug, George is forced to take a back seat.

Gary Windass is determined to track down Noah

Theo pleads with Gary Windass to stay away from Noah as he doesn’t want anything to jeopardise him getting access to his kids, but Gary won’t be deterred and calls at the community centre, intent on confronting Noah.

Maria is bemused when she sees on her tracker that Gary is at the community centre and decides to go and look for him. Will she be able to prevent the oncoming attack?

Having received a text from Carl, Abi feigns a migraine and tells Kevin she needs to go home. But at number 13, guilt gets the better of her and Carl suggests they go for a drive.

In the precinct, Tyrone spots Carl in his car. He quickly jumps out and heads over while Abi sinks down in the passenger seat. But has she already been spotted?

At No.6, Lisa wonders what they’re whispering about when Carla checks the post and confides in Ryan that she’s waiting for an engagement ring.

Lisa shows Carla a jewellery website and reveals her plan to have a ring made for Betsy’s 18th birthday incorporating Becky’s fingerprints.

Fiz finds it hard to hide her annoyance when Tyrone says Steve can move in with Cassie. Meanwhile, Tyrone is less than impressed when Fiz says that Hope can go to a local festival with Jack Webster.

Bernie tries to persuade Dev to give Brody a job at the shop but when Aadi realises what is going on he drops Brody in it and reveals that he was the one who brought the drugs to the party.

At No.7, Bernie tells Dev that they should postpone their honeymoon and he should use the time to build bridges with Aadi. Dev agrees but insists that Bernie must go alone as the rest will do her good. Bernie is touched and kisses him tenderly.

Carla Connor asks Glenda to help plan her big proposal

At No.6, Carla Connor excitedly takes delivery of the engagement ring. She then calls at the Rovers and, handing the engagement ring to Glenda, asks her to slip it into Lisa’s glass of champagne when she arrives.

Carla calls Lisa at work and insists that they meet in the Rovers for a drink. Will Lisa guess what is going on?

When Hope announces that she is still going to post the pic on her social media, Abi tells Carl to go to number 9 and find the phone before Hope gets it.

Meanwhile, Steve wakes up and can’t find Dorin as everyone panics that he might have climbed into an old fridge that has been taken away.

Steve settles himself down in front of the telly and promises to keep an eye on Dorin. At the garage, Cassie teases Tyrone over Hope’s photo of his bum.

But Abi panics when Kevin asks to see the photo and suggests that Tyrone should return the phone to Hope.

Tyrone agrees to return Hope’s phone and let her attend the gig with Jack if she deletes the picture of his backside.

Wanting to spend more time with Laila, Dee-Dee tells Adam that she’d like to go part-time and he should consider employing Alya to take up the slack.

Ronnie confides in Glenda that he’s discovered there’s a dementia choir based at the community centre and he’s considering booking it for the wedding.

    Exclamation Corrie Spoilers 11th 15th August 2025

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...hammer-horror/

Troubled Theo Silverton hits breaking point and trashes the builder's yard on Coronation Street next week ? before Gary Windass comes to his rescue and makes him a shocking offer.

Seething to see the state Theo's in, Gary storms off to the community centre to confront twisted conversion therapist Noah.

He waits, hammer in hand ? but what will his excuse be when his wife Maria Connor catches him?

"Gary takes it upon himself to serve some vigilante justice," explains James Cartwright, who plays Theo.

"He can't see his friend being treated like that. He's accepting of Theo and outraged at Noah's behaviour."

It's one blow after another for struggling Theo. After discovering his ex-wife cosying up to the indoctrinated church leader, he then learns his family are being used to promote a homophobic campaign.

Having just found the strength to come out and break away from a lifetime of being told his feelings were sinful, it's horrifying for Theo when he sees his family on a leaflet promoting 'Traditional Family Values' at Noah's church. The situation couldn't be worse for conflicted Theo?

"Old wounds are being reopened right on his doorstep," explains James. "Noah appears when Theo is finally living his truth, so the timing couldn't be any worse. He's settled with Todd, they're happy, until Noah ruins the party."

After seeing the leaflets, Theo can't think clearly and fails to turn up to lunch with Todd. In despair at his old friend and spiritual advisor taking over his life and brain-washing his family, Theo unleashes his fury on the builder's yard.

"Noah is indoctrinating Theo's family," points out James. "He's sleeping with his wife, treating his kids like his own and telling them homosexuality is wrong. Theo's trying to make peace with his decisions, but Noah's telling him he's shameful."

When Gary discovers the state of the yard, and broken Theo, he's eager to get payback on Noah. Nervous Theo doesn't want to risk losing his kids, but Gary's rage is unstoppable. However, as he storms off to the community centre, he has no idea Maria is in hot pursuit.

"Gary says he'll only give Noah a warning," teases James. "But it'll never be just a warning with Gary Windass! Theo is grateful, but it also comes at a time when he's fighting for custody. One wrong move and it's curtains?"

How will Maria react when she interrupts Gary at the centre, armed with a hammer? Are we about to see his dark side re-emerge, or will he keep his promise and not jeopardise Theo's access to his children?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...arla-proposal/

Coronation Street's Carla Connor plans to propose to Lisa Swain next week.

In romantic scenes, the Underworld boss ropes Glenda Shuttleworth and Ryan Connor into a big romantic gesture to woo her other half.

"It's the moment that Swarla fans everywhere have been waiting for," our Corrie spy shares. "Carla tells Ryan that she's going to propose to Lisa, and her nephew couldn't be more buzzing for them.

"Now that they're all settled in at No.6 with Betsy, it finally feels that the time is right. There's been so much tragedy on the Street lately, and after Lisa expressed her interest in marriage, Carla knows there's no more waiting around."

As Carla anxiously waits by the door for the postie, she explains to Ryan that she's waiting for Lisa's engagement ring to be delivered, leaving suspicious Lisa to wonder what they're whispering about.

Once the ring arrives, excited Carla can hardly wait to ask Lisa to marry her, so she heads straight to The Rovers and discreetly asks bar manager Glenda to slip the ring into Lisa's glass of champagne for her arrival?

"This might be the sweetest side of Carla we've ever seen," our insider continues. "She calls Lisa at work and insists that they immediately meet at The Rovers for a drink, putting her plan in motion ? but will Lisa turn up to the proposal, or could police duties keep her from true love?"

Earlier in the week, the loved-up couple let their creative sides loose during date night when they attend a life drawing class together. However, their bonding evening is soon put to a stop when Betsy calls with a drama at the factory?

"Betsy has been working on some vest tops at Underworld, but she ends up printing the wrong logo on them," our source explains. "She worries about strict Carla's reaction, given their past clashes at the factory.

"Carla can't replace Becky, and unbeknownst to her, Lisa is in the process of having a special ring made for Betsy's 18th birthday with Becky's fingerprints on it. This factory mistake could ruin the teen's bond with Carla and make her miss her late mum more than ever."

But as Carla gears up for her big proposal, will her grand gesture pay off? And will Lisa agree to spend the rest of their lives together?
