I suspect that Theo would prefer not to be gay, and hopes that he can be "cured" by conversion therapy. In the past aversion therapy using electric shock and drugs has been used, by I do not think Corrie will go down those paths, more likely a lot of praying and perhaps the laying on of hands.

I would feel cheated if that all that is shown, no need to actually show what they do but indicate it happens behind closed doors.. there is enough shouting and yelling at each other going on in normal family life in soaps...
