There's an unexpected family reunion for Lauren Branning

Her teenager brother Oscar last seen in 2017, returns to Walford.

But WHERE has Oscar been and why can't he return home to live with either of his parents, Max and Tanya?

Oscar lays on some emotional blackmail, which eventually convinces Lauren to let him stay for a while, as long as he promises to behave.

However, it's not long before Oscar gets a message that proves he's involved in some kind of TROUBLE...

"It's pretty surreal to join EastEnders - it keeps hitting me that I’m actually on Albert Square!" says newcomer Pierre. "When I found out I was joining the Brannings, it was so exciting as they are such an iconic family, and I love that there are so many skeletons in the closet!"

Nigel Bates gets emotional when Phil Mitchell's ) granddaughter Lexi sees a photo of Nigel and his wife, Julie , on their wedding day.

Family friend Jay Brown is shocked to discover the reason that Nigel is no longer in touch with Julie.

Despite being warned by Phil not to get involved, Jay takes matters into his own hands and decides to secretly contact Julie...

Ravi Gulati supplies Harry Mitchell with drugs to sell after reminding the garage mechanic he's now in debt to him.

Harry faces trouble on the home front too.

He gets into an argument with his dad Teddy and decides it's time to move out of the family home...

There's a blast-from-the-past for Nigel Bates when his worried wife, Julie arrives in Albert Square on EastEnders! (7:30pm - see our TV Guide for listings).

Julie has been left fearing the worst since Nigel, who has been diagnosed with dementia, walked out on his marriage without a word and returned to Walford last year.

But now, due to some meddling by Jay Brown Julie is about to learn the devastating truth about Nigel's diagnosis...

When Julie bumps into Nigel and his long-time mate, Phil Mitchell, she angrily demands some answers.

But Julie is left reeling when Nigel doesn't recognise her and quickly becomes overwhelmed.

Julie blames Phil for keeping the truth about Nigel from her all these months.

Phil is alarmed when Julie later announces she is taking Nigel back home to Scotland...

"It's very surreal to be back in Albert Square after 27 years and working with the delightful Paul Bradley again - it’s scary how fast the time has gone!" says Karen Henthorn who plays Julie.

"She has got some awful surprises ahead of her after the initial relief she feels to discover Nigel is still alive. It’s been great to film with Paul and Steve McFadden, who are such lovely actors, as Julie discovers Nigel’s dementia diagnosis and why he chose to hide it from her."


Jack Branning tries to get to the bottom of his teenage nephew Oscar's (Pierre Moullier) difficult relationship with his parents, Max and Tanya.

But it already looks like Oscar is going to be a whole lot of trouble...

Oscar comes up with a scam to have an "accident" at Beale's Plaice.

He then demands financial compensation from chippie boss Ian Beale

Will Ian have no choice but to pay up?

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is ready to sell the Queen Vic to NEW management.

But which of the locals will have their eyes on the prize when the iconic pub goes up for sale at an auction?

PLUS, kind-hearted Kojo Asare comes to the rescue when his mate, Harry Mitchell, needs a new place to live.

Phil Mitchell is not happy after Julie Haye drops a bombshell about her husband, Nigel Bates

Julie blames Phil for keeping the truth about Nigel's dementia diagnosis from her all this time.

After finally being reunited with Nigel, she wants him to leave Albert Square and move back home to Scotland!

However, Phil, who has stepped-up as Nigel's carer for the past few months, is not ready to let Julie swoop in and take his best mate away from him...

Ian Beale has got his sights set on expanding the Beale business empire.

He wants to bid to buy the Vic at auction.

However, after Stacey Slater strikes it lucky and wins ?100, 000 on a lottery scratchcard, the Slater family unexpectedly enter the bidding war!

Oscar Branning continues to cause mayhem.

Which perhaps isn't the best idea when your uncle Jack is a copper!

Is Oscar's older sister Lauren starting to regret letting him stay?

Phil Mitchell is not in a good mood

So when he accidentally catches his son-in-law Callum Highway together with Johnny Carter at the Vic, he SNAPS!

Phil is not happy to discover that Callum has cheated on his son Ben, who is currently in America.

So he lunges for the other man and starts to strangle Johnny!

Will Callum, Jay Brown and Billy Mitchell manage to stop angry Phil before he goes too far?

ELSEWHERE on Albert Square, Stacey Slater is spooked when she spies a mystery man outside the Slater house.

She is worried that he could be a bailiff.

However, Stacey and Eve Unwin later discover that Mr Whitecroft works for an insurance company.

But why does he want to talk to someone in the Slater family?

Ravi Gulati visits Harry Mitchell at The Arches.

Ravi is there to collect his money and instruct garage mechanic Harry about his next drug dealing job.

However, Harry starts to feel uncomfortable when ruthless Ravi suggests they can take advantage of Kojo Asare, and use his flat to stash their illegal drugs...
