Neighbours has confirmed how Chelsea Murphy will exit the soap after Paul Robinson makes a difficult choice.
Paul is attached to baby Thomas despite finding out he?s not the biological father. The situation pushes Terese Willis to move back onto Ramsay Street instead of living with Paul.
In scenes set to air on Monday 9 June and Tuesday 10 June, Paul wants to try and patch things up with Terese, but she?s angry with him for helping out Chelsea.
Paul is disappointed to find Terese and Nell moving things back into the Willis? house, but decides to continue his support for Chelsea by offering to invest in her perfume business, hoping it?ll help her get back on her feet.
Meanwhile, Krista, Leo and Terese are all in agreement that Paul?s ongoing attachment to baby Thomas isn?t healthy.
Terese later finds out about Paul?s investment offer, but he insists it?s just a way to get Chelsea out of their lives. She?s not convinced and gives Paul a final ultimatum ? he must choose between her and Thomas.
Following a chat with Leo, a struggling Paul chooses Terese and apologies to her, promising to put Chelsea and Thomas in the past. He then withdraws his offer of support for Chelsea?s business.
After telling Chelsea that she can?t be part of his life anymore, Chelsea hits back by reminding Paul that he knew he wasn?t Thomas?s father before everyone else found out and hid the secret.
Later, Chelsea warns Terese that Paul needs to fill the void left behind by David Tanaka?s death ? which still remains unsolved. Terese dismisses this and invites Paul to move in with her on Ramsay Street.
Chelsea admits defeat and decides to embrace a fresh start when her kids invite her to join them on the Gold Coast with Thomas.
An insider said: "Chelsea is finally forced to admit defeat when it's clear that she'll never manage to convince Paul to leave Terese for her.
"It's amicable between Chelsea, her sister Cara and sister-in-law Remi as they say their goodbyes, but how will Chelsea leave things with Paul and Terese?"
Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.
