It would take quite a lot of force to break the glazing bars in the window. Looking at how he landed, it looks like he went out backwards and turned in mid air. I cannot see how he would be in that position otherwise, but if he fell back against the window I do not think he could hit it with enough force to break through it. If he was trying to kill himself, which I doubt, surely he have gone up to the roof to gain height as the window is not high enough to guarantee death.

The truth of how he was posed on the ground is more likely sloppy direction, and because it gave a better camera angle.

Joe is very unpopular. An efficient Police force would consider attempted suicide ( Or hopefully suicide) as the best solution.

I do not think he did, he kept putting it down and picking it up, to build suspense. I did not think Charity poured it down the sink, did she? I was waiting for some innocent soul, like Kerry or Mandy, to pick it up and drink it.

Maybe they have and ruled it out. I think if he was committing suicide he would simply have opened the window and jumped out, rather than run across the room and hit the window with enough force to burst through it. It was not higher enough to kill him.
