Eileen Grimshaw worries she may be suspected of killing Julie
Kit’s taken aback to come face to face with Lou in the pub as she tells Tracy that she and Kit go way back.
Later, Eileen Grimshaw is distraught when Kit reveals the autopsy showed her painkillers in Julie’s system, telling George that she can barely grieve for Julie because of the stress of knowing she could be wrongly accused of murder.
At the wedding fayre, Leanne bitches about the position of the Speed Daal pitch as Debbie tries to ignore her. Meanwhile, as Maria heads out to set up, Lou steals a bottle of prosecco, promising that she’ll be with her once she’s finished Tracy’s hair, but when Lou fails to turn up, Maria's clearly not happy.
As Leanne bangs on about the poor position of the Speed Daal stand, Debbie, who’s already panicking after losing her clipboard, loses her temper and tries to shift the stand herself, cutting her hand in the process.
Ronnie insists on taking her to A&E and when a nurse tells her that she needs to ask some questions about her medical history, Debbie masks her panic, ordering a dejected Ronnie to leave.
Liam decides to get his own back and puts washing powder in Mick’s tea, laughing out loud when he takes a spit and spits it out back.
Determined to make Liam pay, Mick locks him in the tool shed, where a frightened Liam calls out in vain.
Lauren confesses to Bobby that she had no choice but to use the ?500 he gave her for a deposit on a flat. Declaring their friendship over, Bobby heads out, leaving Lauren devastated.
With Jenny gone and Ryan working for Debbie, Carla promotes Glenda to Manager of the Rovers.
Later, Jenny packs up her things and moves in with Rita.
Wednesday
Gary Windass gives MIck a taste of his own medicine
Mick sends Liam for bacon sarnies but he fails to come back. Gary Windass and Maria find him skulking in the caf? and he opens up to a horrified Maria about how Mick locked him in the tool shed.
Gary returns to the yard to find Mick looking for something in the shed, so Gary locks him in and gives him a taste of his own medicine before telling Mick he’s fired.
Mick later corners Gary outside and punches him to the ground. Grabbing an empty bottle, Gary staggers to his feet, but suddenly Kit steps between them, ordering Gary to drop the bottle and let Mick go.
In the caf?, Betsy rounds on Lauren over her treatment of Bobby. A row ensues and Lauren accidentally squirts ketchup all over Roy.
In the bistro, Abi and Debbie order soft drinks to go with lunch, but when Ronnie enters, Debbie changes her order to a large vodka.
As a drunken Debbie staggers to the loos, Abi calls Carl for help. And when he arrives a drunken Debbie tells Abi she’s had some bad news...
Glenda tells Carla she’s short staffed at the pub but how will Carla find a new member of staff at such short notice?
Kit apologises to Sarah for neglecting her recently and invites her for dinner.
Lauren explains to Aadi that Frankie has been discharged from hospital and her next mission is to find a job.
Friday
This special flashback episode of Coronation Street reveals Kit Green’s murky past.
Bernie calls at Kit Green’s flat, hoping he’ll open up to her about what’s bothering him and this special flashback episode focuses on his childhood. We see a young Kit finding himself on the wrong side of the law and uncover what made him the man he is today.
Meanwhile, following the fight between Gary and Mick, Maria and Lou row over the situation, each believing their own husband’s version of events.
Gary and Maria confront Kit in the caf? and accuse him of corruption. But he retaliates by painting Gary as the villain, reminding him he was armed with a bottle.
Bernie lets herself into Kit’s flat and remembering the photo she found in the bin, demands to know why he’s covering for Mick.
Mick and Lou take Brody for a meal to celebrate his release from the STC.
