why did john inject nate, he was bad banged up from cain beating him so he would still be saving him, feeding his saving hero complex ego

I am completely baffled and confused now by all these flash backs. I cannot remember how John became involved with Nate. Did John start the fire in the barn, or did he just happen to be on the scene to rescue Ruby?

Moira started the fire, I think, because she had the vision of Emma and was fighting with Ruby, part of the brain tumor storyline, I am sure. Cain had given Nate a hiding and John was just there, cannot remember why. But he was able to be a hero when he saved Moira and Ruby. He must have come across Nate and was giving him medication but something went wrong and Nate died, that was an accident, not on purpose. But now we know how he ended up in the lake.

I still don't understand how if John was trying to help Nate, why would he give an injection in the neck and not intramuscularly or through a vein? I never see that on emergency shows.

vanessa is a dull boring character and awful actress, on the show as married to a producer

i thought liam looked somewhat suspicious, then thought maybe charity as she made a joke but it was a different joke

There was other ocassions when Liam 's facial expressions seemed to be suggesting he was suspicious or doubting something, same with Chas when they were discussing who had spiked her. Not sure if this was bad acting, bad direction, or done to throw us off the scent, or just to confuse us.

You usually only see an injected in the neck when someone is up to no good.

Sometimes pain medication is given into the neck, usually quick and possibly short term pain relief. John must have got the dosage wrong..

I cannot remember, Nate did not want help from John, was not happy about getting meds... guess only an autopsy will now establish cause of death

So all the troubles Chas suffered were down to John, not sure why he was doing it.
