When Joe was coming round I thought/hoped he was going to discover he had had no surgery and the clinic was deserted.
Sent from my desktop computer using my fingers on the keyboard.

In this country surgeons are usually referred to as "Mr", but Crowley referred to himself as "Doctor Crowley". Is he not a real surgeon?

I love the idea of them getting caught and the kidney given back to Caleb, but I don't know whether Joe's antibodies would have damaged it to the point where it would be harder for Caleb to get it back without anti-rejection drugs.

If they can't re-harvest it, I'm hoping that there is a rejection and Joe loses the kidney and sepsis then takes over.

I loved the fanfic that Joe takes Steph's kidney, thinking her to be Caleb's daughter, and then he dies.
The kidney was not damaged. When Joe brought Caleb to him Crowley said he "could not rule out damage to the kidney". He said Caleb needed a blood transfusion. Later after he checked it out, he said the kidney was not damaged. So there was two undamaged kidneys, and now both Joe and Caleb have one kidney each, both undamaged.

I hope that is the last we see of Joe, although if he is gone I guess we can expect lots more 'Dawn mooning over Joe' scenes

And what was the point of Will and Joe trying to take down Kim?

At the moment no one knows that Joe's has had a transplant, so no one is suspicious about anything, Manpreet has no reason to spill yet.

I am beginning to think they are assuming the viewer has the memory of a gold fish. That some of these plots are written as stand alone stories, not connected to each other. It is like reading a book, you come to the end of a chapter, start a new chapter and it is from a different book. Maybe I have the memory of a gold fish as I had forgotten about Joe and Will trying to take down Kim, indeed I had forgotten about Will. Also forgotten about the financial guy, can't remember his name.
When you look back at some of the things that have happened here, that would never be forgiven or forgotten in real life, in Emmerdale it is like they never happened at all.
