    This is getting more and more silly. Does Councillor Barker run Walford single handed. Overnight the decision to to develop Turpin Road is overturned. A decision that probably took years to reach changed in a matter of hours.

    Councillors are not council employees, who carry out of everyday tasks. Councillors meet in The Council Chamber to decide Council policy, not check for rat droppings in the market. Would rats confine themselves to Martin 's stall, surely they would close the whole market?

    Would Ruby really delete all copies of the photos - really. How much sillier can it get ?

    It has not been true to life for years now. "Gritty Realism" we used to be told. About as gritty and real as a Morecombe and Wise Christmas Special.

    Honey and Stacey threatens a strike in the market and councillor Barker gives in and allows Martin to re open his stall. Why? Wouldn't that allow him to put his original plan to close the market into action and start the redevelopment ?
