They always seem to overdo things. No matter how drunk she is, Linda still seems to came up with come backs when arguing with Elaine, instead of just falling down and mumbling incoherently.
I have never taken to new Elaine, far too theatrical, nothing like the original.

I like Elaine and regard her as the real Elaine. I have watched EE for years and do not remember any other Elaine.

She was more "normal", less camp and theatrical, so maybe why you didn't remember her.

Totally agree with that. The words mutton and lamb come to mind. But then again, I suppose everyone has the right to dress as they like, even if it is not very flattering.
