I can't get my head around being fed all these flashback pieces of a jigsaw.
I would like to see an episode of the night that Joel was killed that contains all these pieces in correct timeline so I can understand the full picture of what went on.

You and me both. Programme makers of drama love a flash back. They seem to think it adds something. Sometimes they are right, but sometimes all it adds is confusion, especially if it is not in time order. I have long lost interest in who killed Joel or why. In some ways I feel sorry for them, making all this effort, when I, and I sure many viewers do not care any more. There is a fine line between dragging things out for dramatic effect, and dragging out to boredom and indifference. I think they crossed that line a long time ago.

Those flashbacks are ok if you just have one or two but with nearly all of the residents being in the frame this is rather an overload

Either upstairs or out shopping.
She can't be bothered turning up to the studio to take part in her own leaving story. They could/should have killed her off weeks ago, said she got run over by a bus coming home from her art class. No one has missed her.
