Carla threw Bobby out after he admitted to giving a false statement, but allowed him to return after he saved Ken, so presumably he is still there but we are just not seeing him. I would have expected him to visit Lauren in hospital.
The actor is currently on a break in Rome.

He has not been back in prison since, so should be more willing to give Mason a chance. With a bit of luck Gary will be the one who ends up in prison, he always was a bit of a thug.
