No idea how far away Tom has taken Piper but surely there can't be that many vets in the area? I wonder if Toms comeuppance will be something to do with Piper being found?

I've no sympathy for Jai at all, he's so desperate to get one over Laurel he's blindly handed over everything to Caleb.

Yesterday, Tom said we, (him and Rhona?) were working on her all night, and again tonight he said, Rhona and I literally stayed up all night, working on her.

So whose dog or what dog did Rhona work on with Tom all night? Would have been more believable if Tom had "worked" on Piper all night alone....

This story makes no sense, even less sense than most stories that make no sense. Although Tom said he and Rhona were working on Piper all night, we did not hear her confirm this, so was Rhona there all night or not, and if so what were they doing since as it turns out Piper was not badly injured. When Tom handed Piper over to the new owners, she did not seem badly hurt, if indeed she was hurt at all. Yet when Belle saw her at the vet's she seemed to be at death's door, she did not turn her head to look at Belle. Had Tom tranquilized her? The strangest part was when Belle accused Tom, in the street, of killing Piper, Rhona did not say that Piper was OK, as she must have been because we saw her being given to the new owners and she was, unless she had suddenly made a miraculous recovery. In order to make Tom even more nasty, the writers are going too far, so far that they are contradicting themselves.

Wait! Yes it does all make sense - Piper is dead, and Tom has found a doppelganger.

So has Jai invested all his money with Caleb in order to hide it from Laurel. Surely Laurel's solicitor will not just take his word for it that the money has gone pay debts, they will want proof. As usual in matters of business they take the easy way out and skip over the details, expecting us to just accept that deals have been done.

Dog's and cats have been known to walk many miles to return to their former home, so can we look forward to Belle waking up one morning, opening the back door, and finding Piper sitting on the doormat?

Even if Piper were chipped, Tom took care of that by saying that the current owner left Piper tied up all night, to discredit her so that they wouldn't return her if she showed up or if they found her. I'm hoping that once this horrible story ends, that the couple will see the story on the news and realize that they had this abuse victim's dog and voluntarily come forward.

And as for Tom, how campy is he with the Honey I'm Home stuff? Really! It's like watching Jack Nicholson in The Shining! Next thing, I expect him to be coming after Belle with an ax.

The registered details of a microchipped dog can be changed, if the new owners contact the microchip company, Tom being a vet should be able to scan it, and probably register Piper to the new owners.
