Soap characters frequently walk out on their lives with nothing but the clothes they are wearing and survive, Ian Beale in Eastenders, for example. Oh, that it was so easy in real life. - She probably saw the post that the boys who confronted Roy posted, showing him being put in the ambulance. Joel did not know she was visiting, he was just lucky to be there when she was.

I wonder if this was the story all along, or did they decide to resurrect Lauren more recently. It seemed that Joel hit her pretty hard, so she is very lucky to have survived relatively unscathed.

Anyway at least the mystery of who would leave a bacon sandwich uneaten has been solved.

Legs it out of the apartment, and the chain appears to fall out of his jacket onto the car floor.

Question, why did he put it in the bag, and leave the bag (sorry 2 questions)
how did the chain magically get to Joel's jacket...

Is Joel the next Paul Daniels .🤣
I do not think we actually saw him put the necklace in the bag. We saw him pick it up, then the camera cut away to a shot of the top part of his legs crossing the room to the pink bag. It is possible we saw a glimpse of him putting it in his pocket, but the image was brief and blurred, so I am not sure if we saw this happen. We then saw him rummaging in the pink bag, but I do not think we actually saw him put it in the bag.

What puzzles me is we saw him pick up the necklace with his right hand and I think put it in his right hand pocket, yet when it fell out in the car it looked it fell out on his left side, between the seats.

Certainly after he bashed her... did she go and get herself checked out at a doctor or hospital at all? The way Joel laid into her I expected her to have permanent injuries...

I suspect she was checked over by Dr Gaddas before being allowed to run away.

I expected her to be dead. Joel needs to go to the gym more, if he could not finish of a defenceless girl with a chair leg.
