Flashbacks show EDEN got out on bail without PAULs help - YAY!!! At least PAUL didnt organise that.

But as many of us suspected, PAUL is indirectly responsible for DAVIDs death. He told EDEN about the getaway & pregnancy !

Neighbours spoilers follow from Tuesday's episode (February 6), which is streaming now on Amazon Freevee.

Neighbours has confirmed that Paul Robinson sparked the tragic chain of events that caused the death of his son David Tanaka.

Paul's guilt was revealed in a flashback scene in Tuesday's episode, which explained the secret he shares with Eden Shaw.

Eden caused chaos last week when he gatecrashed David's holiday with Aaron Brennan, Leo Tanaka, Krista Sinclair and Nicolette Stone.

The villain was determined to confront Krista after finding out that she's carrying his baby. However, it wasn't immediately clear how Eden had discovered this ? or how he knew where to find her.

All became clear in the soap's latest episode, as a flashback scene showed Paul and Eden conspiring together in the Lassiters penthouse on the night before David's death.

Paul had spotted that Eden was out on bail following his time in prison and invited him upstairs for a chat.

Desperate to sabotage his son Leo's relationship with Krista, scheming Paul let Eden know about the holiday and Krista's pregnancy.

While it's still unclear how far Paul expected Eden to go, he was later devastated to learn that his meddling had gone spectacularly wrong as Eden's vengeful actions had caused David's death.

Meanwhile, in the present day, Eden escaped from the hospital and held Melanie Pearson hostage at the Kennedy house as he tried to get money to start a life on the run.

When Melanie's ex-husband Toadie Rebecchi grew impatient over the police's delay in helping her, he staged his own daring rescue by sneaking into Number 28 and tackling Eden to the ground.

Toadie's heroics paid off when he managed to overpower Eden, leading to the villain being re-arrested as the police rushed in.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
