Yes, that is something that had been bugging me too.

The fact that there was only one empty can, and he did not wake up, when she shouted at him,- should have been a clue. Audio description said the carbon monoxide alarm was bleeping, but I could not hear it, though the red light was flashing. A silent alarm, a lot of good that would be.

I am tired of this old Soap myth that you can open a door with a credit card, if it is that easy, there would be no point in locking our doors.
