Anyone else feel like giving Lydia a good shake? I wish she would tell someone.
Not quite sure where the Vic and Jacob storyline is going but if it's heading for the bedroom I am out 🥴

I am really not engaging with Lydia's story at all. She is screaming and shouting at everybody without any explanation of what is upsetting her. I understand that some abused women feel they are unable to confide in others or report their rape or abuse to the police. Normally I think they would become quiet and withdrawn, unlike Lydia. It seemed that Lydia initially chose not to confide because she did not want to jeopardize Samson's work placement, but now that he no longer doing this, she has no reason to keep quiet. When we first met Craig he was presented as being quite nice, perhaps even a bit niave and innocent, he says he misread the signals, which might explain his behavior, but not excuse it. When Lydia said no, he should have stopped. Now I feel he is being presented as a nasty, creepy manipulator. When Lydia first appeared, if I remember right, she was a grief councillor, which I think should have better equipped her to deal with her situation. The weakest part of this story I think is that no one around her seems to have noticed her dislike and anger towards Craig, surely someone should realize that something here is not right.
