Neighbours spoilers: Terese has fallen off the wagon - now, she's covering her tracks
Dark days ahead.
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/enterta...cohol-relapse/
Terese is wallowing in self-pity after her recent heartbreak and, in a moment of weakness reaches for the bottle and relapses, sending herself further into a depression.
This week in Neighbours, Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) promises a concerned Susan (Jackie Woodburne) that even though she feels drawn to Paul (Stefan Dennis) romantically, she won't cross any boundaries.
Terese is vulnerable after her husband Toadie (Ryan Moloney) left her and Erinsborough for good, taking her stepchildren Nell (Ayisha Salem-Towner) and Hugo (Tanner Ellis-Anderson) with him. A heart-wrenching phone call with homesick Nell sees her sink further into emotional turmoil.
Ending up in Paul's arms seeking comfort, Terese considers breaking her promise to Susan as sparks fly. But instead something far worse takes over when she spies a bottle of wine left as a gift at Eirini Rising.
Tempted by the devil on her shoulder to use alcohol as a coping mechanism, Terese is tipped over the edge when she learns Susan accidentally revealed to Paul that she may be interested in him.
Troubled by what kind of impact the revelation will have on her relationship with Paul, who has been her rock and support system during this tough time, Terese does the unthinkable and drinks the bottle of wine.
Terese, who has suffered from alcoholism in the past, quickly disposes of any evidence of her drinking from the night prior in the bin - but Susan is onto her after her behaviour appears strange.
Will this be a one-off slip-up or is Terese back on a dangerously self-destructive path that could see her lose herself and everyone she loves?

Neighbours' returning character to strike deal with Terese Willis
Terese tries to cover her tracks.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ese-nell-deal/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours teenager Nell Rebecchi reluctantly strikes a pact of silence with Terese Willis next week.
Nell finds herself bargaining with her stepmum after discovering that she's struggling with her alcoholism again.
Viewers have seen Terese face a tough time since her husband Toadie Rebecchi ended their marriage and left town with his children Nell and Hugo.
This week's episodes see Nell make an unexpected return as she jumps on a bus to spend some time with her boyfriend JJ Varga-Murphy.
JJ skips school to enjoy the day with Nell, which earns the teens a rebuke from Felix Rodwell.
The day then takes another unexpected turn when Nell uses her spare key to let herself into Terese's place and finds her emotional stepmum with a bottle of wine.
Terese thinks on her feet by telling Nell that she had been thinking of drinking but hadn't yet given into temptation.
This is far from the truth, as Terese has been drinking heavily for several days by this point.
Having only shared part of her secret, Terese pressures Nell to keep quiet in return for her not telling Toadie that she came to Erinsborough without his permission.
Nell agrees that it's the best deal for both of them, but she's clearly still worried and heads back to see JJ ? asking him to keep an eye on Terese for a while.
Meanwhile, Susan Kennedy also checks up on Terese and grows suspicious over what her friend is hiding.
The pressure on Terese grows further when Eirini Rising resident Moira questions the whereabouts of a missing bottle of wine, which Terese had secretly stolen.
Regardless of Nell's decision, is Terese getting dangerously close to being caught out?

Cant believe this SL! Driven to drink by a man ..
TERESE deserves better. Writers dont know what to do with her now that TOADIE has left her. Instead of throwing TERESE into a really positive business SL they thought to show case her falling off the wagon. Pathetic! Hate how they have portrayed TERESE as this weak vulnerable character.

Neighbours' Terese Willis to spark further suspicion in alcohol plot
Paul is concerned for his ex.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...her-suspicion/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours favourite Terese Willis struggles to hide her alcohol relapse next week.
Susan Kennedy, Leo Tanaka and Paul Robinson are among those who get suspicious as Terese's erratic behaviour continues.
Earlier this month, Terese fell off the wagon as she struggled to cope with the sad breakdown of her marriage to Toadie Rebecchi.
Feeling lonely and isolated after Toadie left Erinsborough with his children Nell and Hugo, an emotional Terese started drinking wine in secret.
Next week, Terese returns home after a day away from Ramsay Street, which she only organised so that she could drink away from prying eyes.
Terese is stunned to be presented with a very bare front garden at No.22 following some recent landscaping work.
Although initially confused, Terese quickly realises she has no room for complaint as the landscaper has precisely followed her exact instructions, which she sent over email while drunk.
Susan questions Terese over the bizarre changes but is confused when Terese claims that it's what she wanted.
Later, Terese tries to distract everyone by claiming that she had a brilliant time away with her daughter Piper Willis ? even helping her and Tyler Brennan out with a renovation.
Leo tips off Paul about Terese's mysterious trip and her strange attitude towards the landscaping work.
Paul is concerned, but will he question Terese or continue to take a step back?
Ahead of these scenes, Monday's episode (October 21) saw Terese's stepdaughter Nell question her about her drinking after returning to Ramsay Street and finding her with a bottle of wine.
Terese lied that she was tempted to drink but hadn't yet acted on her desire. She and Nell ultimately struck a deal to keep each other's secrets, as Nell had made a return visit to Erinsborough without Toadie's permission.
Neighbours airs the Terese, Paul, Susan and Leo scenes on Monday, October 28.

Neighbours? Terese to cause major gas leak at Eirini Rising
The residents are put in serious danger.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...eirini-rising/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours' Terese Willis will cause a major gas leak at Eirini Rising as her alcohol relapse storyline continues.
The character has been struggling recently following the breakdown of her marriage to Toadie Rebecchi, who has left Erinsborough.
Scenes next week will see her return to Ramsay Street following a day away to secretly drink, and Susan Kennedy and Paul Robinson start to get suspicious over her erratic behaviour, notably after bizarre landscaping work in her garden that she had actually devised while drunk.
In new scenes set to air next Wednesday (October 30), Paul grows concerned after Terese lies about her trip to Adelaide, while Karl and Susan worry when she doesn't turn up to the woodworking class.
Terese eventually arrives, though loses her temper when Susan suggests that she is dropping the ball.
Things escalate after problems at the woodworking session, with Paul at the receiving end of Terese's rage when he calls out her lying. She tells him that he wasn't there when she needed him, and that she doesn't need him anymore.
The stress leads Terese to drink, and she unknowingly damages a gas pipe when leaving Eirini Rising later that evening.
Later, chaos ensues at the retirement home as Gino tries to save the residents from danger, though Susan is unable to inform Terese ? who has passed out drunk.
Will she be ok?

Neighbours' Terese Willis to face huge backlash over gas leak secret
Susan turns on Terese.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...lash-gas-leak/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours' Terese Willis will face huge backlash in upcoming scenes after causing a major gas leak at Eirini Rising.
In scenes that aired on Wednesday (October 30), Terese had some heated arguments with Susan and Paul, who have become increasingly worried over her erratic behaviour after her marriage to Toadie Rebecchi broke down.
The stress led Terese to drink, and she unknowingly damaged a gas pipe when leaving Eirini Rising later that evening.
In scenes set to air on the soap next week, Paul stays the night with Terese and urges her to get some help.
Although Terese assures him she can handle it, she struggles to hide her guilt when she discovers that the driver of the linen delivery truck at Eirini Rising confessed to causing the gas leak, thinking he was responsible.
When the driver is fired from his job and told he may face police charges, Terese tells Paul that she wants to confess.
However, Paul has another suggestion. He tells Terese that he'll take the blame so there won't be a scandal to ruin Eirini Rising's reputation.
Terese reluctantly agrees, but when the time comes to tell the residents, she can't help herself and confesses that she was responsible for causing the gas leak while drunk.
Terese apologises for her actions and assures the residents that it won't happen again. But when the residents leave the meeting, Susan turns on Terese and criticises her for keeping her relapse to herself.
An overwhelmed Terese flees the meeting but is then met with a furious Moira, who accuses Terese of stealing her missing wine.
Later on, Paul confronts Susan and Paul over their reactions to a friend in need. But Paul begins to blame himself, admitting he saw the signs but ignored them out of an attempt to respect Terese's boundaries.
Meanwhile, Krista gently convinces Terese to let her book her into the rehab centre David once connected her to. Paul is overwhelmed with relief when Terese agrees, and the two share a moment of connection.
The next day, Terese is ready to make amends and asks Susan to manage Eirini Rising in her absence.
However, she is shocked when Karl and Susan ask her to step down from her role permanently, as they're fed up with complaints from the staff and residents in the wake of her confession.
Terese complies and carries her belongings from the office, before confessing to the police with Paul by her side.
Before leaving for rehab, Terese tries to address Paul's confession from the other night, but he promises her that they can speak about it when she returns.

Neighbours' Terese to face tough opposition after return
Not everyone is happy to see her.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...gh-opposition/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours' Terese Willis will be faced with some tough opposition, as she plans her return to work after rehab.
Earlier this month, Terese confessed to causing the major gas leak at Eirini Rising when she drunkenly drove her car into a pipe. Krista Sinclair convinced Terese to book into a rehab centre and Terese asked Susan Kennedy to manage Eirini Rising in her absence.
Terese was shocked when Karl and Susan asked her to permanently step down from her role, but reluctantly agreed before she left.
In next week's episodes, Terese returns home from rehab, feeling much stronger and more stable. She and Paul Robinson quickly slip back into their normal friendship, with neither of them bringing up the connection they felt before she left.
Paul tries to support his ex-wife and suggests some business-related tasks to keep her busy. However, Terese is keen to return to Eirini Rising; even in a non-managerial, working from home capacity.
Worried about the Kennedys' reaction, Paul privately urges Karl to consider Terese's plan, pointing out that they all let Terese down by not realising she was drinking again. He suggests they should do everything they can to support her.
Terese waits to hear if Karl and Susan will allow her to do some Eirini admin work from home. Harold kindly volunteers to canvas the other residents' opinions and Terese agrees, hoping they will all be as generous to her as Harold is being.
Elsewhere, Terese and Paul's connection continues to deepen and they make dinner plans, which they both hope may lead to more.
But Terese's hopes of moving forward are squashed by Moira Tohu, who has enlisted the help of lawyer Tim Collins. Moira insists that Terese's return to Eirini would be a safety violation with a serious penalty, resulting in all the residents getting their money back.

Neighbours favourite to move out of Ramsay Street in surprising decision
Will they regret it?
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...y-street-exit/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours is set to air a surprising move for Terese Willis, as her partner Paul Robinson returns to Erinsborough.
In next week's episodes, Paul returns from his short break in New York with the hope of moving back to Ramsay Street. He reveals that he wants to live with Terese following their reunion, rather than him living separately at the Lassiters penthouse.
Despite clashing with her in the past, Paul is impressed by the 'Story of Erinsborough' concept that Nell Rebecchi has been working on for a school project. He suggests holding an exhibition of her artwork at the Lassiters complex.
However, Nell doubts his motives when she finds out that he wants to live with her stepmother Terese. The pair try to work out their latest misunderstanding, but things take a tragic turn when Toadie Rebecchi arrives back to announce that his father Big Kev has died.
Toadie later tells his ex-wife Terese that he'll be taking Hugo and Angie to America after Big Kev's death, but would like Nell to stay with her. But when Terese mentions the possibility of Paul moving in, Toadie insists that he'd move Nell out if this happens.
Terese decides to prioritse Nell and breaks the bad news to a disappointed Paul. However, when Toadie sees how well Nell and Paul are getting along, he wonders if he was too hasty in stopping Paul from moving in.
After reconsidering, Toadie finally gives Paul his blessing, but Terese suddenly feels uncomfortable. She worries about bringing him into a space where Nell has so many memories of her dad.
Eager to find a solution, Paul suggests a compromise and invites both Terese and Nell to move out of Ramsay Street and into the penthouse with him. They agree to the move, as Terese and Paul try to give their relationship another go.
But will Nell and Paul be able to keep things amicable, and who will move into Terese's house now it's empty?

Neighbours star Rebekah Elmaloglou responds to show ending news
"It's been difficult."
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...u-show-ending/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours is known for its outlandish storylines, but one plot we could never have predicted for the show's 40th anniversary was Paul and Terese ending up with a baby!
Yet that's exactly what happens next week when Chelsea arrives with her newborn son, Thomas, and a DNA test reveals that Paul's the dad.
It's certainly a shock for Terese, who wasn't expecting Paul's ex to come back to haunt them so soon into their rekindled relationship.
But as Inside Soap sits down to chat to Neighbours star Rebekah Elmaloglou, she tells us that the idea of Terese and Paul adding to their family has been on the cards for quite some time?
"One of the show's producers keeps saying to me, 'Terese should have a baby!'" laughs the actor as we catch up with her. "And I have to keep saying to him, 'Mate, I've just gone through the menopause, it's not even possible!
"But the baby who plays Thomas was an absolute angel," she continues. "He was a premature baby, so he was tiny, but he was adorable. On screen Terese is not supposed to like him, but in between takes we'd all be cooing over him. I loved every minute of it."
Read on for more from our chat...
Hi Rebekah! How does Terese feel about moving away from Ramsay Street and into the Lassiters penthouse with Paul?
"Look, I think at this stage, as long as she's with Paul, she's happy. She takes her bucking bronco framed photo with her!
"I think her only concern about moving into the penthouse is Nell. Nell's still a huge priority, and she does get put aside a little bit with all the drama with Chelsea and the baby, that does come up at some stage.
"So they have to kind of go 'Right, we need to reprioritise Nell'. But will Terese stay in the penthouse? We'll have to wait and see?"
The show turns 40 next week ? what is your own personal highlight of your time on the show?
"Terese falling off the roof of Lassiters! I just love the fact that Paul sees her up there, she's still holding on for dear life, and he manages to run into the foyer, press the lift button and get up there to save her.
"I also loved when Terese was drunk and fell into the little pool in the Lassiters complex. But I could give you a list of hundreds of highlights, I guess every character would have their favourite."
How do you feel about the sad news that Neighbours will be ending again this year?
"Unfortunately, we came back from the UK tour to the news that the show was being cancelled again. It was quite the blow after being on such a high with the tour.
"Though I feel very grateful that we got another two years of our beloved show, it's been difficult to jump right back into work? but who knows what the future holds.
"At this stage I'm just going to enjoy the remaining few months of filming and look forward to the next chapter. I'm so excited for everyone to see the incredible storylines we have coming up for the 40th anniversary.
"It's such a huge milestone that I'm proud to be a part of. And who knows, I could pop up on one of UK's favourite soaps!"

Terese is unable to resist when Darcy promises to give her all the juicy details on what Chelsea Murphy could be hiding.
Viewers have seen Terese battle with her insecurities since Chelsea returned to town with Paul Robinson's newborn son Thomas.
Paul has promised Terese that he's fully committed to their relationship and she'll still always come first, but she's already starting to feel pushed out by the new family set-up.
Next week, Terese is intrigued as Darcy ? who's been growing closer to Chelsea ? offers to keep a close eye on her.
In return, Darcy wants to start working at Eirini Rising on a part-time basis, where he'd be job-sharing with Karl Kennedy.
Terese is initially reluctant, but soon changes her mind when she spots Chelsea appearing overly cosy around Paul at the penthouse.
Darcy is delighted as he gets the job he wants in return for supplying Terese with intelligence on Chelsea's antics.
The shock shake-up at the retirement community is bad news for Karl, who's uncomfortable over Darcy staking a claim on his job.
Paul is also baffled by Terese's decision to hire Darcy after his many misdeeds in the past. Although Terese feels guilty about causing chaos with her decision, she's sure that the benefits will be worth it.
Darcy's scheming comes just as he steps up his attempts to flirt with Chelsea.
Chelsea enjoys Paul's obvious disapproval and dares to hope that he may even be jealous of Darcy.
Before long, Paul insists that he doesn't want Darcy anywhere near his son, but Chelsea warns him to get used to it because she's now dating Darcy.
With Darcy determined to hold up his end of the bargain with Terese, is it only a matter of time before Chelsea says too much to him?

Neighbours confirms another house change as Number 22 gets two returning residents
Who's heading back?
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ing-residents/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours has confirmed another house change as Number 22 on Ramsay Street will have two new residents.
Terese Willis had previously moved out of the property after she rekindled her relationship with Paul Robinson, with scheming doctor Darcy Tyler renting the house over the past couple of months following his return to Erinsborough.
Terese is currently in the centre of the drama as Paul is wrapped up in the custody battle for baby Thomas Murphy, with the storyline seeing Jeffrey Swan confirmed as the boy's father after initially faking a DNA test.
Next week's scenes sees Cara Varga-Murphy speculate that she could potentially adopt Thomas after Chelsea abandoned him, though her wife Remi isn't too enamoured with the idea to begin with.
Paul, meanwhile, is still upset over the possibility of losing the boy he has viewed to be his son, with Krista confiding in Terese that Paul would eventually have to make the choice to let Thomas go.
Things take a turn, however, when Chelsea returns to Erinsborough and pledges to take care of Thomas. Paul and Terese take her to see Cara, with a heated argument subsequently ensuing between the sisters.
The conflict leads to mixed feelings all around, with Cara struggling at the prospect of letting Thomas go. Remi, despite previously having mixed emotions regarding adoption, reaches out to Chelsea and urges her to consider Cara's feelings as well as Paul's before making a decision.
Paul suggests to Terese and Krista that he could potentially offer Chelsea a place to live, though they both implore him to drop the matter. He ignores their advice and offers Chelsea a room at the hotel, and begs her not to tell Terese of his knowledge regarding the DNA test.
The plan soon backfires as Krista spots Chelsea at Lassiters, and promptly informs Terese of the developments. Feeling betrayed, she puts her foot down and tells Paul that she'll be moving back to Ramsay Street with Nell?
"Terese has always been honest about how she wanted to keep her house on Ramsay Street as an escape route in case things went wrong with Paul," said an insider for the Australian soap.
"When Paul shows no signs of getting baby Thomas and Chelsea out of his life - despite the revelation that he has no obligation to them - it's the final straw for Terese. She's very relieved that she kept the house just in case - but can Paul still talk her round?"
