i thought it was quite touching. and there's a bit of a logic to it; i think Sean does love his mum deep down, but he associates her with his dad and he can't bring himself to think about all that. but now he's a parent himself (sort of). plus, who would suspect Jean?Quote:

Getting her to read Bible passages to Dot, even saying they have the same favourite hymn, they're in this together. Plus the mother as well most likely - they're probably saying she's dead to pull on Dot's heartstrings even more.

I missed some episodes but when did Jack decide he 'loved' Ronnie again? Did he not love Tanya up until a few weeks ago? Not that I care about Jack but Jack's love life is absurd and I don't buy his 'love' for Ronnie or their relationship.
Surprised at Jean helping Sean although the fact she believes Sean is doing nothing wrong is slightly worring. Nice to see Sean turn to Jean though, even in these awful circumstances.

last night's episodes were disapointing to say the least, and so far fetched with them falling into the lake. wish they'd killed sean off, it's not like he has any reason to return in the future unless they wanted to kill off Roxy or one of the Mitchells.
I thought it was all a bit drawn out. When Roxy saw Ronnie and Jack arrive why did she then walk out onto the icy lake?
