Snow!

Just looked on BBC Weather and it appears the snow is expected to hit where I live tonight.. whether it will actually fall is debatable though..

we had so much snow! :D i dont think ive ever seen that much snow in my life! i was actually excited lol! it snowed constantly sunday and monday, it was so heavy, and im pretty certain that there must have been at least 5inches of it. we never get snow! apparently we havent had that much snow where i live for over 20yrs! its still really thick at home now even though it was really sunny yesterday and today. but in canterbury when i came back theres hardly any of it left

the thing is though, they have snow all the time so theyre prepared for it. i saw on the news cars in russia with these snow tyre things, we dont need those in this country cos we dont have snow enough, i dont think people would pay for all this stuff just for 1 day a year

i used to love it when school closed! i heard that over 1000 schools closed on monday! my dad couldnt get into work, all the trains were cancelled so he had to stay at home, only 2 people out of 25 were actually in his office on monday and they were both going to go home after only being there half hour!

I've never had school closed before. :p

Herts uni sent an email saying their open day this Saturday may be cancelled. Noo I was counting on that to help me make up my mind. :lol:

We ALWAYS have school closed. Like, almost everytime it snows.. We were sent home from school a couple of years ago because there was a really bad blizzard and it was going to get worse, and then too dangerous for us to go home. School was closed for the next two days after that :D

we never had it closed all day, we would always have to go in and then be sent home! :rolleyes:

will they be rescheduling the open day? cos my uni were gonna reschedule the open days today if they were cancelled

my school was never closed for longer than a day! :(

The only time we were sent home was when the heaters broke in primary school
