i thought it was garry when it was first announced heather was pregnant, although someone said it was at the time garry was in france so it cant be him. for some reason no ones really mentioned billy. i dunno why but for some reason i cant really see it being himQuote:

tbh im starting to not really care who the father is. i dont particularly like heather and the father is probably going to be someone i dont care about either. i hope we either find out soon or it stays quite til the babys born, i just hope its not gonna be every epi someone going on trying to find out who it is! on ds though theres people who think it could be christian which made me laugh!

EastEnders' 'Who's the Daddy?' storyline surrounding Heather's pregnancy has spread to the betting world.
Cheese-loving Heather Trott's (Cheryl Fergison) shock pregnancy in the BBC soap has sparked the show's latest whodunnit and the market has today been formed as to the perpetrator.
Heather's ex-husband Minty Peterson (Cliff Parisi) is the favourite at 2/1, while Eddie (Will Chitty), the mystery man she met in R&R in February, is second favourite at 3/1.
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) ranks at 5/1 and Darren Miller (Charlie G Hawkins) stands at 6/1. Garry Hobbs (Ricky Groves) and Vinnie Monks (Bobby Davro) are 8/1 shots, while Vinnie's son Callum (Elliott Jordan) is the rank outsider at 16/1.
Unlucky-in-life Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) joins Christian Clarke (John Partridge) at 10/1, with taxi driver and head of the Slater clan Charlie (Derek Martin) at 12/1.
A Ladbrokes spokesman said: "Minty and Heather have got previous and as a result, it's Walford's loveable mechanic who leads the way. But EastEnders chiefs love a twist and the rest of the field aren't too far behind."
It is believed that Heather conceived after a night out in R&R back in February. After suffering an asthma attack two months later, she was stunned when the doctor revealed that she was pregnant after a series of routine tests.

If they are trying to recreate the Michelle thing then Darren would have an impact because of the age difference and because he's with Libby and has been for some time now. But otherwise I think that suggestion is insane because I don't see him cheating on Libby and especially not with someone that much older than him.
I'll have a fiver on Phil I'm not changing my mind now. who's taking the bets.
I still think him as well. If not him then Vinnie; I really think that Heather didn't tell Shirley she was expecting because that would have meant difficult questions about who the father was. Questions that Heather wouldn't have been able to answer without Shirley knowing that she had been with her boyfriend/ex/someone she liked.
Precisly if it had been Minty he had plenty of time to own up that time Shirley thumped him in the vic but he was clueless to what she was going on about, which to me means that he hasn't slept with Heather during the time she fell pregnant so that rules him out. They are just trying to make Minty the favourite to throw the viewers off the scent so they can come up with a shockaroony storyline but we have seen straight through them and we know who the real Daddy is.
I think they think Minty would have thrown us off of the scent because they might well have slept together when they'd had a few drinks or something. And to get an annulment that couldn't have been public knowledge.

They added: "It's certainly causing a lot of excitement but only a handful of people know the real story..."

If phil is the daddy I will eat my hat... Heather clearly said he was drunk and phil wasn't on the drink then.. and if they are expecting another mitchell, Archie was there too
yes but I have a theory about that. I think Heather said the Dad was drunk as she's ashamed and has a low opinion of herself because she is obese she believes that a guy would have to be drunk to go with her. Phil's the Daddy and Archie is Phil's Daddy but I'm working on that plot for christmas.
