Well it was no surprise that something had happened to Rishi with those little hints about life being too short etc. Now we will have to witness Jai's feelings of guilt for the next few weeks.
Maybe I am being insensitive but if we examine Jai's situation coldly and dispassionately, the only thing that really changed for him since he found out Rishi was not his father was his DNA. Everything was the same Rishi had always treated him as a son and treated him equally as Priya and Nikhil. I think maybe it would have been better for him if he had never found out. As Rishi said, when would have have been a good time to tell him, I cannot think of one. It certainly did not make him any happier knowing.Quote:

I wasn't expecting that end either, I didn't know the actor was leaving.
I guessed by him not turning up at the wedding that something had happened but I thought it may have been a heart attack and that he would eventually recover, still leaving Jai to feel guilty for the stress he had caused him.
I'm a bit surprised that Rishi was killed off but the character was ruined years ago when they turned him into a buffoon.
