Uhh yeah :)
We had a big chat the other night about his big chat with my best firned in work, and how I came up and she made him realise how much of an idiot he had been by giving me the cold shoulder and just walking away with no exlanation.
So I gave him a lift home and he apologised to me, and then explained about his feelings for me and all that kind of stuff and then Transformers came up so we decided to go and see ti tongiht as neither of us had seen it yet.
I had a really really good night tonight :)
Di M I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandads foot, I hope they get to him in time.. though he shouldn't still be waiting anyways
Best of luck for him that they can save as much of his foot/toes as possible. It should never have come this far :(
thanks :) i know they take so long not doing anything which is surely just letting it get worse! there are so many other people on his ward as well with the same thing and they are just being left as well! one of the other people is black all up his leg and apparently when he came in it was only his foot but cos theyve left it so long its got worse! i cant believe the hospital think its alright to let that happen!
thanks :) i definitely think my mums gonna complain after its all done. its deteriorated (sp?) a lot in about 2 weeks as the nurses that came to the house to change the bandages and stuff wouldnt listen to my gran when she said it was getting worse (one even said its normal to do that before it gets better! ). i hope they can save as much of it too but they need to get it sorted quickly, when he went into hospital this time they said it was urgent yet left him almost a week before they did anything! and all they could say when we asked about it was that 'its a shame it didnt get done today'. the doctors/nurses never explain anything to my grandad either so my mums been reading whats been happening and looking up all the stuff she doesnt understand, which according to the results loads of things should have been done, and the test they only just did should have been done when he went in the first time about 2 months ago!
Why don't you transfer him to another hospital? I used to go into a grotty hospital which is well known in the area for having MRSA, rude nurses and filthy wards. Even my mum hates going there. I finally got my care transferrered to a hospital at Hull which is brilliant. The doctors know what they're talking about and it's clean.
I don't know how easy it is to do as my GP did it for me.
im not sure how easy that is to do tbh. the hospital that hes in atm is one of the biggest (or possibly the biggest) in our area/county. and its apparently in the top 40 in the country (and if thats true i dread to think what the others are like!). my mum wanted to transfer him to go private cos my dad can get it discount with his insurance at work but my grandad didnt want to so i dunno if hed want to move to another hospital either. when i was in hospital (the same one) and my parents wanted to get my transferred to the private hospital cos my dad could get it free for me, i had to get my doctor at the hospital to sign me off even though he would be the same doctor i would be seeing at the other one and conveniently (sp?) he was never around to do it. so yeh dunno how we would go about doing that tbh
went and sorted out our sky subscription today so that we can have broadband and stuff in our new house when we move down there, so thats all sorted but cant believe how long it takes to install everything!
then went to see my grandad. the results of his scan came back today and the doctor said that he would come and talk to my grandad while we were there so that my grandad knew what was going on cos he cant normally hear them properly. but it was gone visiting time and he hadnt come so the nurse was trying to chuck us out and we were trying to explain about the doctor coming and she was shouting at us saying that he wouldnt have said that and that he would have meant that he would come to speak to my grandad by himself. luckily the doctor turned up then but he would only let my mum and my gran stay there so me and my sis had to wait outside. according to my mum, although atm its only really the toes that are dead, cos it happened so quickly if they amputated just the toes theres a 90% chance that he will need to have his foot/leg amputated anyway in the near future so my grandad has to decide whether he wants to risk just having the toes off and probably having to have another operation in a few weeks or amputate the leg now without having the chance of trying to save it. my mum thinks he should have the leg amputated straight away as she doesnt want him to have to go through more than one operation in such a short amount of time, my gran thinks he should only have the toes off as he might be able to save his leg, and i dunno what my grandad wants, i think he has dealt with the fact it might end up being the worst scenario anyway. the man in the bed opposite him had two of his toes off a few weeks ago and today he had two more off cos it had spread and his foot is now starting to go black too. so if thats gonna happen to my grandad as well then it might be best to amputate the whole lot at once but then it might not and then youve taken the leg off for no reason so i dunno
di marco, I am so sorry. Horrible decision to make. All the best xx
Went to the doctors this morning about my throat. I sorta knew I had tonsilitis last week but im going on holiday in less than 2 weeks so It was time for the docs. Got some antibiotics got to take 2, 4 times a day. This is the fourth time Ive had it now, although only the second I went to the dcotors about it. He told me that cos its my 4th time within a year, if I have it another couple a times to make it 5-6 times within a 2 year period and got to the doctors about it everytime then I could be reffered to get them taken out. I dont really want to have them taken out but if its the only way to stop it
Hope you recover quickly and that you are fit for your holidays :)
Aw Abbie i know excatly how you feel i ended up having my tonsils removed cause i kept on having it and it was sore everytime. Hope you get better soon.

went down to sort my house out a bit today as my sis had to go to a meeting for one of her new jobs. managed to sort out the rest of the kitchen and all of the bathroom so that was good. got a lot of my room done as well
I was helping my mum in her school again, keeping me busy, but still dont feel right, had a constant headache again. This really had beter shift, going to Lakes on Friday. Really getting on my nerves. Havent needed any painkillers though so thats good.
Hope the operation goes well D M if thats what they decided.
DM sorry to hear about your Grandad you must be all worried sick. hopefully the doctors will be able to save his foot without having to amputate it. Abigail glad you've been to the docs and got some antibiotics, hopefully this will clear it up as you don't want to have your tonsils out. I suffered from tonsilist a lot when I was at school no sooner had a finished a course of penicillin but I was back at the doctors witohin days. I got mines removed at 15 along with my adinoids and it was sore for about two weeks afterwards I had earache in both ears. It's more painful the older you are.
You mean Abbie :p
I've been bowling today :) It's been ages since I last went so I was rubbish. Then went shopping and got a hoody and a couple of tshirts. Maisie got some water bombs so we filled some up and had a water fight of sorts. They took ages to fill though and the kitchen got covered in water.
Sorry Abbie my mistake. :D
Haven't been doing much lately, mainly working, had work last night until close.. but didn't get in until 2 haha.
I have work today aswell but only until half 6 which is good, because it's going to be awkward.
So I think the plans for tonight are to get my friends down mine for a film and pizza night because I've been after one of those nights for agessss
I've been having trouble sleeping so took sleeping tablets which didn't work till like half 2! I took them at 10.05 was not pleased!.
Went out for a bit last night with one of my best mates cause she was feeling emotional cause of stuff that had been happening. I was feeling really emotional to i just wanted to curl up and cry and i don't know why hate it when that happens.
Today i don't know what im doing, i may tidy my room which my mum has wanted me to do since saturday but i've kept on putting it off. I don't know to be honest.
I'm having trouble sleeping too at the moment. I'm tired but just can't sleep.
I'm tired too. Penny cat woke me up twice with a dead mouse and an only slightly chewed moth/butterfly which I released.
Rowan Atkinson was at the crematorium today for his father-in-laws funeral. For obvs reasons didn't go up to see him though. Its been quite quiet this week in terms of work to do.
Going to go to the bank now to set up a student account with Nationwide.:)
I'd love to work in a crematorium, I love dead people.
Got a phone call from my gran before we went out and the hospital wants her to head in tomorrow so my mums taking her up and she wants me to go with her just incase she can't get parked, & i just know it's bad news :( :thumbsdow
Aww, that is a worry, but perhaps it is not as bad as you think right now. All the best xx
Thats what i think Perdita but she went for a biopsy about 2 weeks ago on her leg just to make sure it wasn't anything bad. And they said it would take up to 4 weeks for them to call her back and it's only been 2 weeks since she had. When she found out she was getting the Biopsy they were doing it incase she had bone disease. My mum thinks the only reason it's 2 weeks early they're calling her in is cause it is bone disease. She is able to have a operation but i don't want it to be bone disease. :crying: .
That might of confused half of you but it had to come out i am so worried at the moment and i know i shouldn't be.
Just because she was called back two weeks before they estimated doesn't mean its bad news. Doctors often over estimate the time for appointments and test results so that you aren't ringing up when the results are supposed to be back to find out they haven't been looked at yet.
They could just have got her biopsy analysed quicker than originally though.
Hope everything is ok Tannie
I woke up feeling normal, i am so glad not ill anymore it was not good. Going on holiday to the Lakes tomorrow so great timing! not packed yet, need to find my walking shoes and m y iopod chargers just broke so going to go to town quickly before we set off and see if i can buy a replacement. Really looking forward to it now. A week away from civilisation, it will be likwe being at Sea again but not.
I feel crap. All of a sudden, headache, dizzyness, sore side, hard to breath, earache & tiredness. So away to bed to see if sleep will help :).
Keep on wanting to take a panic attack to and it's not like i'm panicking over anything. I'm quite calm for tomorrow.
Hope everythign is alright Tannie, and I hope you feel better soon too :)
I got rid of my flu... and now I can't stop coughing.. it's really annoying!
Work wasn't awkward today... well not much anyways, which I was worried about, so that was very very good.
Ended up working until close as one of the girls couldn't come in today or tomorrow, so I ahve her shift for tomorrow too... roll on payday :)
You never see them usually I don't think, just stick them in the oven. Although today someone still had a pacemaker in and that explodes in the furnace so they had to take it out before they stuck him in.
Got a job for Sept. :) Friend of Dad's cafe turned Italian place for the night. Two or three days a week. Reasonably good pay.
I have had really bad headaches at work lately and I am not sure if it is the lighting in this place or the heat.. I am grand once I am outside so I know it is definitely this place... (sorry just need to have a bit of a moan)
I've had some good news today. My sister is pregnant with her first (and possibly second) child. We have a feeling it could be twins as she keeps dreaming about having two. I'm so excited, can't wait for March.
I'd quite like a new set of eyeballs that aren't sensitive to pollen. They've been red, swollen and dry all day. It's like having glass in my eyes. Didn't help that I took Maisie to a castle and it's all grass.
