The Arch deacon Silly billy, in charge of actual vicarages when he lives in a pokey little flat
What exactly is Leanne living on? Simon's earnings from the chip shop?
Yes, he was offered a house to go with Archdeacon job, but when we first met him, I seem to remember he was not openly gay and wanted to get away from the church when off duty so that the Bishop and other people would not know. I think he was originally living in a vicarage next door to the church. Maybe I am mixing this up with another Soap as they all share the same storylines at some point.
Yes, that sounds a bit familiar. I do have a vague memory of Billy living in the vicarage when he first met Sean and that Sean came to the vicarage. Wasn't his moving out something to do with the Bishop's views on homosexual relationships within the clergy...? Not sure......
I may be mistaken but I think Gail gets an inheritance from her father and buys David's House.
Never! You mean that Coronation Street have engineered an amazing coincidence so that Gail's father who we haven't heard of in years dies at just the same time David needs money to buy his house back? I can't believe Corrie would ever dream of doing such a thing..........
So Simon gets a phone call late at night on his mobile, answers it .. Leanne comes out of her bedroom and asks who would be phoning so late... Simon says Jacob from fish shop, Simon left his phone and Jacob found it so he is now going to get it .........or have I misunderstood something :hmm:
You are confused Perdita, I suggest you follow Leanne's example, go into your bedroom and have a lie down. - Simon said he left his wallet at the chippy. - Simon openly leaving a bag of drugs by the kitchen table??? - Leanne does not seem to be bothered that Simon is going out late at night, would the chip shop still be open? - I think I too need to lie down in a darkened room to process this.
Sorry but I am hard of hearing so do not always understand what is being said... As Jacob phoned from the chippy it is natural for Leanne to assume it is open but maybe closing time and that is when Jacob found the wallet... as he is only going across the street Simon should be home again in 5 minutes .. but you are right, Son of Cain, I am going for a lie down now..
It should be obvious to anyone that Jacob is a wrong 'un , he just seems so obvious.
I did think that Leanne had a cheek earlier saying "Nick used to live here", no that was Nicks flat, but she's talking as if its hers.
I wish I could find it so easy to cope with the utility bills, as it is I'm sitting with multiple layers of clothes and my feet and hands are freezing as I'm trying to keep usage down, I certainly wouldn't get away with telling the company that "they would have to wait".
A few years back someone I used to work for left me something in his will and it took well over a year to settle. Then more than another year to receive the last payment after the HMRC had been settled with. Mind you perhaps it is dependant on the competence and efficiency of the executor.
So David paid off his previous mortgage but now cannot get another one to buy his former home again???? He is working (when covid allows it) Shona is (when covid allows) ... not heard of David being in financial stuck in different ways.... why would he not get another mortgage????????????
The sink hole could be putting the lenders off.
Anyway now the wifi has gone off neither Tracy or David can bid and when the wifi comes back on the house will have been sold to a mystery bidder.......... Gail.
When Audrey agreed to lend David the money he should have tried going straight to Debbie and buying from her direct.
for some reason i thought ted died ages ago
