;670932']Dancing was stressful! Well not really, we have our festival (competition) on Sunday so everythings always tense the last lesson before, it doesn't help that we were still re-choroegraphing everything either!

hope it goes ok :)

Hope your hayfever improves Kath, mine was bad yesterday but doesnt seem to be as bad today, i think it must be a specific pollen in the park as its only when i walk through there i am really affected.

I passed my exams :cheer: :cheer: I am so happy, i got a 2.2 in family law and 2.1s in the other 3. Not quite sure how i managed!

Congrats Katy :)

I woke up this morning in agony, I couldn't move. Really don't know what I'm procrastinating about; I need to see a doctor. I think its because I'm in a new area and I haven't seen a doctor here before, I'm worried because they haven't got my records and don't know my history and will probably say I'm just run down or it's drug withdrawals. I'd have been to see my gp weeks ago if I'd been at home because I know him, he understands what I'm like when I get ill and I trust he knows what he's talking about.

So I've been taking co-codamol and now having a glass of wine (yes, I know it's naughty but it needs drinking).

i went and helped at the playschool again today. one of the little kids accidently sliced my arm open while they were trying to "kill" me! it didnt hurt but there was quite a lot of blood! i was teaching the little kids how to play wheelbarrow races which was quite fun! and some random cat kept walking in which all the kids were really excited about!

My swollen eyes finally managed to settle down this afternoon. the weather is too get cooler over the weekend and rain is forecast so that should ease it a bit. It's been a while since my eyes were so puffy.

Well done on your exams Katy. Abigail get yourself to A&E if your not feeling better over the weekend.

Hmm good few weeks but gosh, so not knowing what to do with some things.

Staff party last week, and this Weds just gone... and got wit the same boy both times.. and apparantly he fancies me, I don't know.. but truth is, I'm just not that in to him lol. I still really like this other guy I work with. Which I told I liked, and he said something like "give up smoking for a start", and that's all I remember of what he said to me about it all lol. He's still been treating me normally, and kinda flirty and all that, so don't know whether he likes me or not.. everyone thinks he does though.. but I dunno.. and if the other guy asks me out or something, do I say yes, even though I'm not that in to him, but I do like him etc... but would I just be settling for second best? I dunno lol.. ahhh :p

And am I a bad friend for still liking the girl who kind of had an affair with my mates fiance.. I love all my mates, and I have tried to hate her for what she has done, but I can't! I value her friendship too much, she's been there for me a lot this year. So I don't know, am I being a bad mate to the other girl?

AHH... and I dunno I have been REALLY snappy this week! Like the slightest thing and I'll just snap! And a proper bad mood.. towards the start of the week I understood.. cos I was on.. and stuff lol.. but I'm not now, and I'm still being snappy and constant bad moods lol!!!! Any ideas why ??

ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD still got some college work to do :crying: even though college is officially over. Meant to be in next week.. hmm we shall seeeeee!!!!

Leah don't go out with the first guy if you don't really like him it's not fair on both of you, and no it's not wrong to be friends with a girl who had affair with another girls guy, it has nothing to do with you why should you have to choose between friends when this girl has been there for you. Yes she did wrong but so did the guy and IMO she was single he wasn't so why should you be made to choose between friends.

Kirsty :]

Well done Katy thats brilliant :D

I feel ill :( oh well i'll get it out of my system somehow!

Lea... don't settle for second best, you have to settle for what you want. But if you feel liek you could give it a go then go for it.

You're not a bad friend at all... in fact you're a good friend. I've been in this situation (me and my mates went out for mine and this other girls birthday and this girl and my best friends boyfriend kissed... big palava over it) but they're all my friends, at first yeah I was angry and both the guy and the girl for hurting my friend that way, but you get over it and I don't turn my back on any of my friends... and it's got to the poiint of stupidness now anyways and quite frankly, my best friend is being an idiot over it all by basically getting back with the guy, but still making things difficult for the girl and is getting attention from it now, so in my opinion, no I don't think that's being a bad friend at all.

CrazyLea
10-07-2009, 22:59
HmmI know, but I don't really know how I feel about him to be honest. He's a really nice guy, and he is really cute, but I just don't know.. why am I so hung up on the other guy, who's not exactly shown any interest lol!? Strange.

And thanks, that's made me feel better about my mates. I feel sorry for her kinda, because her best mate went off with her boyfriend.. so I think she's just not herself at the moment.. and doesn't care about much, and I hate how the other girls are hating her! Especially one, who is a hypocrit, as a few weeks ago she told me that she kissed her boyfriends best mate! And now she is judging this other girl..
I know though if they findo ut I'm still talking to her, then they're going to go on at me, and I am not looking forward to that, but I shall use what you said Kath haha. I like it. Thanks

Abigail
10-07-2009, 23:06
At the end of the day Lea, you're not responsible for your friend's actions. What she did might have been wrong but you shouldn't have to choose and you shouldn't drop your friends because of what she's done. If she slept with your boyfriend it would be different (obviously).

Don't feel bad for being friends with this lass. You have every right to be friends with her, she was there for you when you needed her (was the others?). Ignore what your other friends say, if they can't accept that you're sticking by her then that's their lookout. Tell them to go screw themselves, especially the one who kissed her boyfriend's mate.

Me niece helped me with the housework this morning. We put some music on and danced then I hung the washing out and she washed some cups (made a HUGE mess in the kitchen but she was only trying to help).

We're going to a street festival soon. Nothing flash apparently.

Having a real lazy weekend as I have worked way too hard this weekend as this past month I have worked an additional 40 hrs on top of my contracted 160 hrs and I feel exhausted. I woke up this morning and every part of me was aching.
I really need to slow down before I do myself some damage.

Lea - I would echo what others have said. If you don't fancy this guy and he is serious about you, don't go with him because it will end in tears. I would just let him down gently. It's best if you try your luck with this other guy you really like.

I don't think your a bad friend either. The affair that happened is between your two friends and you shouldn't be dragged into it. It sounds like this girl has been good to you by being there for you.

Hannelene - put your feet up :)

I'm still in a weird mood.

Perdita
11-07-2009, 14:18
I agree with the other posts, Lea, try to move on from the guy who does not seem interested in you, let the other guy down gently and stay friends with the other girl, she has been there for you. Was not right what she did, but we all make mistakes, who knows what the guy told/promised her.

Are you back in England? Did you have a good time?

I've had a wonderful afternoon at the festival. There wasn't much really but we sat down outside the Priory (old castle ruin) on the grass for an hour or so and had an ice cream. I went into a little boutique and got a pointless present for Sam (Battleships ice cube tray) which has some meaning behind it and a card. I feel like I haven't talked to him for a long time so I'm going to sit down later and write to him.

Welcome back, Stars, hope you had a great time. :)

Another girl from my bellydancing classes got married today and 6 of us went to the reception tonight and danced, as a surprise. I was sooo nervous. One lady told me that I had the best bits wobbling in all the right places, I hope she meant it as a compliment

Thanks guys, yes I did. :)

It is so rainy here. We were in Bol, Brac - which is an island of Croatia. One of those package deals. Hotel was nice, buffet option for breakfast and dinner. Beaches nice - pebbley though but it meant the water was nice and clear. The water was cold but good because it was hot and sunny hehe. :p I may put some pics up here tomorrow.

Sister was ok company, but sometimes annoying as she is quite hypocritical at times. Yesterday she said my hair was an insult to her. I said there's more to life than hair.

Had frogs legs at the Vietnamese restaurant tonight. Yum yum. :p Afterwards we went to the pub and I had a tea. But the pot was so big I had three. Wide awake now.

Sounds like you had a lovely time Stars :)

Just as I gave up on trying to find someone, this guy asked me out on a date out of the blue. I didn't really see it coming. I wasn't too sure about it but we arranged to go out together not this week but next week. I'm not holding my breath though, it could all go wrong. To be honest, I think I will bore him by this time next week - that's what I fear and that's why I'm not getting overexcited about it. He's a nice guy though and I like him a lot.

I used to Irish dance, it was never a good sport after a night out.

Then later take doggy for walk, phone police again and get a different crime number as mines not correct according to the insurers and maybe watch a DVD later.

Then I went to the pub for a bit, and then a few of us decided we wanted to see Bruno, so we headed to the cinema... but we got the days mixed up for the late showing :( and then we saw our other friend coming out pf work so we all ended up getting a kebab and then going to Asda... it's been random! Haha

The man is coming about the personal injury claim tomorrow... he needs to be ready for my wrath mwahahahaha. I won't be nasty really :p not his fault, jsut doing his job trying to suss everything :p but the first thing out of my mouth will be what injury does she claim to have. I'm so wound up about it.

Just been watching TV today and I've arranged to meet up with a friend tomorrow in town - haven't seen her for a while.

The first case of swine flu broke out in my town today.

We got our, in fact I don't even know how many cases we have confirmed now. A teacher at my school - or old school should I say! And 3 kids have it, a kid and member of staff where my mum works has it, a little boy at my brother's primary school has it and there are 4 other schools in the area with numerous confirmed cases (n) It's not good!

Had a really good day today - went to see Harry Potter :D Haven't read the book so I had nothing to compare it to and so thought it was fab! Just thought the ending was a bit boring. Then went into town to speak to my piercer, got talking about how long it took me to stretch my right ear lobe to 6mm and she didn't believe me at first that I went straight from a normal earring which is 1.6 mm (if done by a needle and not the horrible gun) to a 4mm in one night and I'm at 6mm now! :D But anyways asked about getting my Conch done and she said she'll do it for £20 which i'm excited for now! Now to find some money :hmm:

I've had a busy day. I'm back in Yorkshire for a few days for the dentist and optician. I've installed the wireless on the new pc and two laptops and shown my mum how to use Chrome. She picked it remarkably quickly.

Then I had a snooze :D Been having lots of weird dreams recently :hmm:

my grandad had to go back into hospital last night. the nurse that comes to change his bandages said his leg was looking worse (my gran had been trying to tell her that for days!) so said he needed to go up the hospital. my mum and gran were up there for hours cos they didnt have a bed for him and they wouldnt let them see a doctor. finally they saw 2 doctors and apparently they think they are gonna need to amputate some of his toes as they have a bad infection in them and otherwise it will spread to his whole leg. it annoys me cos if they had done something properly about it before then this wouldnt have happened!

thanks :) my mum phoned up this morning to try and find out whats going on but they would only tell her what ward hes been moved to. she was gonna take the day off work but they wont let her up there or tell her anything so shes decided to go into work anyway. i think her and my gran are gonna go up there this afternoon. the hospital didnt even know if he was gonna be operated on today, when surely it should be done asap to stop it getting worse? i told my mum they should complain about them and also the doctor he saw to start with. i think she might depending on what happens cos she was going to when he had the same sort of problem with his finger but in the end she didnt as my grandad didnt want her to and although he now cant use his finger he didnt need it amputated in the end (although he said hed rather it wasnt there as it just gets in the way!). hopefully itll be sorted soon anyway

I've been to the dentist this morning. I'm having another retainer brace as my teeth have moved. Maybe this time I'll actually wear it and they'll be straight.

The local council have sent me an adult education course booklet but didn't put enough postage on. It cost me 1.15  I didn't even order it which makes me even angrier. My mum is taking it back to the council offices when she goes into town.

I've just had a lovely bacon, sausage and scrambled egg sandwich so I think it's time for an afternoon snooze now :)

Had one of those days that Im just ready to forget. When are doctors going to do their jobs properly - yet another op coming my way - this time gallbladder needs to come out. Mind you my GP did say he felt upset for me when he got his copy of the report my spinal specialist sent him, so hey it really didnt make good reading. Getting my head around needing a wheelchair to get around.

Any update on your grandad Di Marco? Have been thinking about you and the family today.

thanks :) well theyve decided not to amputate his toes straight away (although if they think it needs to be done im sure it would be better to do it sooner rather than later?). instead theyre going to do this thing (ive forgotten what its called) where they put dye in your blood to see what the circulations like. i think they plan on doing that tomorrow if his blood has thickened up enough to do it. my mums friend is a nurse and she said shes disgusted they havent already done that as thats one of the first things they should have done!

I finally cleaned my car today... but, I washed it with washing up liquid... which apparently is really not a good idea, the inside is spick and span though :)

It's goign to be a sleepless night tonight, my brother was playing with my sister earlier this evening but he plays too rough and we tell him all the time that she';s only little and he needs to be careful, but he dropped her on the sofa and she's hurt her arm and can't lift it :( so my Mum and Dad have taken her to the hospital.

I've been to the doctor this morning. He wouldn't give me what I asked for (co-codamol) but gave me some pain relief gel. Maybe I shouldn't have just asked for it :ninja: I only told him half the story (I always forget something) so I see why he thought I was just after drugs. If I was I'd just buy them online.

He noted that I'm looking more like my mother every day  That is not something I wish to be told by anyone.

went to help in the playschool again this morning. i wasnt planning on going but its the playschool i used to go to and the manager is still there and she said she hoped id be coming in today so i did! it was their last day of term and loads of the little kids will be going to school next year so it was quite sad. they played party games which were so fun! :D im gonna miss helping there for the rest of the summer. though i said id go back and visit at some point next year if i was back home

went to visit my grandad in hospital this afternoon. i think me and my sis are the only people hes pleased to see as my gran keeps nagging at him constantly! bit annoyed though cos when he went in on wednesday they said they were gonna do this scan thing with dye in his blood to test for circulation and the doctor said it was urgent so he hoped it would happen on thursday or at latest by today. but even though he was booked to have it done at 11am apparently they ran out of time today! and cos he was nil by mouth even when they told him he wasnt having it done they didnt give him anything to eat or drink! so when we got up there we made sure they got him something. apparently hes having it done on monday now so he better had!

I'm shattered, but not from working... from partying too much haha
Was a friends (well 2) 18ths yesterday so we had a limo to Cardiff... I loved it! :) The people there are sooo much friendlier than those in newport. The only person who annoyed me was my friend, because she;s selfish, and aslong as she and 2 of the other girls and her boyfriend had a lift home off her daddy, she didn't care how me and the other 2 girls got ourselves home that night. Never again will I ask my Granch to go out of his way to come and pick all of us up because we're stranded. Never.

Today just been ion work all day, smashed a glass and been super clumbsy, but the night ended on a high, a very good high :)

We had a big chat the other night about his big chat with my best firned in work, and how I came up and she made him realise how much of an idiot he had been by giving me the cold shoulder and just walking away with no exlanation.

So I gave him a lift home and he apologised to me, and then explained about his feelings for me and all that kind of stuff and then Transformers came up so we decided to go and see ti tongiht as neither of us had seen it yet.

thanks :) i definitely think my mums gonna complain after its all done. its deteriorated (sp?) a lot in about 2 weeks as the nurses that came to the house to change the bandages and stuff wouldnt listen to my gran when she said it was getting worse (one even said its normal to do that before it gets better! ). i hope they can save as much of it too but they need to get it sorted quickly, when he went into hospital this time they said it was urgent yet left him almost a week before they did anything! and all they could say when we asked about it was that 'its a shame it didnt get done today'. the doctors/nurses never explain anything to my grandad either so my mums been reading whats been happening and looking up all the stuff she doesnt understand, which according to the results loads of things should have been done, and the test they only just did should have been done when he went in the first time about 2 months ago!

Why don't you transfer him to another hospital? I used to go into a grotty hospital which is well known in the area for having MRSA, rude nurses and filthy wards. Even my mum hates going there. I finally got my care transferrered to a hospital at Hull which is brilliant. The doctors know what they're talking about and it's clean.

I don't know how easy it is to do as my GP did it for me.

im not sure how easy that is to do tbh. the hospital that hes in atm is one of the biggest (or possibly the biggest) in our area/county. and its apparently in the top 40 in the country (and if thats true i dread to think what the others are like!). my mum wanted to transfer him to go private cos my dad can get it discount with his insurance at work but my grandad didnt want to so i dunno if hed want to move to another hospital either. when i was in hospital (the same one) and my parents wanted to get my transferred to the private hospital cos my dad could get it free for me, i had to get my doctor at the hospital to sign me off even though he would be the same doctor i would be seeing at the other one and conveniently (sp?) he was never around to do it. so yeh dunno how we would go about doing that tbh

went and sorted out our sky subscription today so that we can have broadband and stuff in our new house when we move down there, so thats all sorted but cant believe how long it takes to install everything!

then went to see my grandad. the results of his scan came back today and the doctor said that he would come and talk to my grandad while we were there so that my grandad knew what was going on cos he cant normally hear them properly. but it was gone visiting time and he hadnt come so the nurse was trying to chuck us out and we were trying to explain about the doctor coming and she was shouting at us saying that he wouldnt have said that and that he would have meant that he would come to speak to my grandad by himself. luckily the doctor turned up then but he would only let my mum and my gran stay there so me and my sis had to wait outside. according to my mum, although atm its only really the toes that are dead, cos it happened so quickly if they amputated just the toes theres a 90% chance that he will need to have his foot/leg amputated anyway in the near future so my grandad has to decide whether he wants to risk just having the toes off and probably having to have another operation in a few weeks or amputate the leg now without having the chance of trying to save it. my mum thinks he should have the leg amputated straight away as she doesnt want him to have to go through more than one operation in such a short amount of time, my gran thinks he should only have the toes off as he might be able to save his leg, and i dunno what my grandad wants, i think he has dealt with the fact it might end up being the worst scenario anyway. the man in the bed opposite him had two of his toes off a few weeks ago and today he had two more off cos it had spread and his foot is now starting to go black too. so if thats gonna happen to my grandad as well then it might be best to amputate the whole lot at once but then it might not and then youve taken the leg off for no reason so i dunno

Thats what i think Perdita but she went for a biopsy about 2 weeks ago on her leg just to make sure it wasn't anything bad. And they said it would take up to 4 weeks for them to call her back and it's only been 2 weeks since she had. When she found out she was getting the Biopsy they were doing it incase she had bone disease. My mum thinks the only reason it's 2 weeks early they're calling her in is cause it is bone disease. She is able to have a operation but i don't want it to be bone disease. :crying: .

That might of confused half of you but it had to come out i am so worried at the moment and i know i shouldn't be.

Just because she was called back two weeks before they estimated doesn't mean its bad news. Doctors often over estimate the time for appointments and test results so that you aren't ringing up when the results are supposed to be back to find out they haven't been looked at yet.

They could just have got her biopsy analysed quicker than originally though.

I've had some good news today. My sister is pregnant with her first (and possibly second) child. We have a feeling it could be twins as she keeps dreaming about having two. I'm so excited, can't wait for March.

I'd quite like a new set of eyeballs that aren't sensitive to pollen. They've been red, swollen and dry all day. It's like having glass in my eyes. Didn't help that I took Maisie to a castle and it's all grass.

Is the Poland trip the one with the Rotary?

I could go to Florida at Christmas if I can find the money for flights and spending money. At the moment, I don't think I'll be going but we'll see. My sister is renting a villa so I could just got for a week or something instead of two. I'm saving my nectar points as you can use them on Virgin flights.

This baby is going to cause a huge rift, it's starting now and its still a ball of cells. I was the last to find out, Ian's family and my parents knew over a week ago. My sister has also lied by omission and Ian thinks my mum has done something and he's slagging her off for it (no change there). I really want to set him straight but it could cause more problems. I'm steering well clear of this :ninja:

Ooohhh Hannelene I watched PA! I loved it.. ahha.

What a day! Been in work since half 12, but ti wasn;t that busy, until about 4/5 and we had a big burst of people.
A customer had gone to the toilet, but threw up on the way... 3 times, so they didn't quite make it to the toilet, so I cleaned that up.

And then I got shut in the staff toilets on purpose by one of the guys I work with... which was quite funny but got really annoying after about 5 mins when he wouldn't let me out.

And I found out that someone stole our tip jar yesterday night! Luckily though, a customer had seen him and so the Police were caled and eventually we got our tip jar back, money and all :)

I'm tired now though, woke up in the middle of the night and found myself throwing up :( and this cough still won't go away!

Roadworks ARGHHHH. TFL are idiots. Seriously, a little bit of forward planning PLEASE.

Major roundabout roadworks. Then they close a road in one direction. Domino effect of people trying to avoid the traffic and having to use other ways to get to places. Long story short traffic backed up everywhere.

And Roundabout will go on until 4 Sept. Other road until 20 Oct.

I've got square eyes. I'm looking for cheap flights to Orlando at Christmas. My sister has booked a villa there so all I need to pay for is a return plane ticket and park tickets plus spending money. The cheapest flight is about 480 with two stops (which I don't mind - I'd rather stop twice and save a few hundred quid). I've just remembered that my passport has run out so that's another 100 quid.

Might not be going at this rate :ninja: I think eBay may become my friend once again. Realistically I can afford to go for a week if I don't fritter my loan away. The bank keep asking me if I want a credit card to go with my student account so that's an option :hmm:

I could always cut the number of trips home from once per month to once per term  That'll save me a fair bit.

Who's crying. you lot want to cry well I'll make you cry, with laughter. Take a seat and make yourself comfy I'll try and keep this short.

Last week while Marley was at her cousins and I was at work, her cousin Michaela and boyfriend Clarke had a fish tank with some tropical fish in it. They asked Marley if she wanted it and if it was alright with me she could have it. I wasn't too keen as she already has two cats but since they said she could have the fish I didn't want to say no. Cut to last night Clarke and Michael my other neice Cherie's boyfriend arrived with the fish and tank. Instead of transferring the fish to a secure box and bringing up the empty tank. No they brought the fish and tank up together with the water slushing away everywere. When they settled the tank down I said there's not a lot of water in it. I asked Michael what type of water to put in the tank he said hot water as they are Tropical Fish. I asked him are you sure again he said yes use the hot water out of the kettle if that's not enough use the hot water out of the tap.

Still awake are we? You know what's gonna happen don't ya. I went and got the kettle, which was half full poured the water into the tank went back into the kitchen to fill the jug with some warm water from the tap went back into Marley's room where the tank was and guess what YES the 6 little fookers were belly up. Boil in the bag fish anyone. I am now an offical fish murder and had to go the pet shop today to buy some goldfish to make up for my crime.

She has two goldfish at the moment as the pet shop suggested putting two in at a time next week we will go back and get another two, if everything is okay they've been in the tank for six hours now and are still alive.

Keeping tropical fish is hard work, we have two tanks and OH is forever cleaning them out (weekly thing, I have to do it when he is away)) and make sure you have a temperature gauge and thermostat and aerator. I think the poor fish might have died of shock, as the shop assistant suggested.

Goldfish don't have the water as warm as tropical fish, perhaps you can get a book on keeping fish and/or read up on the internet to prevent any more mass murder. And don't over-feed them :D

I really need to stop spending, but I cant help it, what with the dance show and everything

Mum forgot the vets appointment. I had to drive my car while holding the cat cage door shut because she was trying to escape. My car's a manual.

On the way back I had clearly pulled into a space to let a 4x4 driver through, then a volvo went past. 4x4 goes into another space for him, and volvo goes past her. For some reason they get into an argument and start screaming at each other. I was going to beep them but realised that would be counter-productive so just put my indicator on and waited for them to finish. And I thought adults were meant to be the mature sensible ones.

I have too many things to do tonight and too little time! Leaving tomorrow morning around 8am.

I went to my friends BBQ last night. Was reallyy good :D. Great to catch up. I invited my mate from work along too haha, because he drove me to my mates and she said he could come :p.

So yeah he stayed... and we shared the same bed (nothing happened :p), but yeah we were just hugging and snuggling lots, and we kissed a lot.. and he wasn't drunk cos he only had 3 cans. I think I asked him out and he said yes... but this morning and today, neither of us mentioned it haha, so I dunno what's going on with that stuff..

But that's where my confusion comes in.. cos he's lovely and all that... but I really don't know if I want to go out with him.. I'm still really hung up on the other guy - the one that will never happen.. I don't know why I am so obsessed with him though! Like when I am with the one I kiss, I will just think of the other one a lot.. so I don't want to lead the one I kinda like on . Ah ya know what I mean!?

Well staff party next week... see what happens with me and the guy I kinda like, but don't like as much as the guy I liiiike.

Does this guy who you were with at the barbecue work at the same place as you Lea? Why don't you think anything will happen with the other guy you like?

Nothing much going on with my life at the moment... my parents are going away tomorrow with my little sister to see some family so I am home alone as I think my brother is off to Brighton to see his girlfriend. Me and my brother seem to have grown apart a lot now which I find quite sad. I'm trying to build some bridges again but he just seems really dismissive of me...I'm wondering if it's my fault..

As I'm home alone, I will be watching DVDs and will be on here most likely. Think I am going into town again tomorrow night and got a pub quiz on Sunday.

.

Aw... It's probably just that you are both grown up and doing different things/different stages in your lives. My brother and I grew apart when he went to uni... it will all come full circle as you get older and more settled in ya lives... Im sure its not your fault. :)

You will probably get closer as you get older, i think most people grow apart from the siblings at some point in there lives.

I am foing to Manchester later, to cash a cheque and maybe do a bot of shopping.

I have had a real lazy day as it has been the first saturday I haven't been at work or had the need to head out. I have had much needed time at home to do all the boring things like cooking, cleaning and then I have had time to catch up emails, messages on myspace, facebook and also read other forums I'm part of.

I think I will need to do very little the next 48 hours as on Monday I will be having my wisdom teeth out. I am so happy to have them out but scared of the pain I will be in after the extraction. I keep wondering ' what have I let myself in for?'

Just been to town today to get my Mum a birthday present, but I didn;t know what digital photoframe to gte, so Adam came to help me choose one on his break lol.

I'm jsut sat here eating my dominos for a bit until everyone decides if they're going out or not.

Aww Hannelene :( I had 2 teeth a few months back and all I did was sleep after it, but I much preferred having teeth out than having fillings... anyways, it's not the nicest of things but think of the pain free time you'll have after they're out and you've slept for a while :) it'll be worth it

What pizza did you have?
Makes me want to get one. I could eat a farmhouse one now :)

Thanks for your words Kirsty I know having it out is the best thing to do as I have been living on painkillers for too long now. I couldn't get the time off work as paid leave so I had to take Monday and Tuesday off as unpaid leave, do you think that will be enough time for me to recover?

Abbie

I have a different opinion, I found my fillings better than having teeth out, although when I had them out I had my brace so that might have been why

Kirsty :]
01-08-2009, 19:50
I had Pepperoni :) yummy yummy.

Yeahh you should be fine :) I went to dancing the same day, I didn;t dance obviously, but by the eening the bleeding had stopped so I was ok to move about, but not too much.

Oohh did you Abbie? I found that the procedure of having an extraction was better than a filling... but the aftermath was the other way around, cos I was aching from having teeth out, but just had to wait for the numbness to go on my fillings.

Abbie
01-08-2009, 19:53
I couldnt feel a thing during my fillings

Kirsty I had to give in and order a pizza :)

I have the same problem when I have had a tooth extracted before I had a wierd tingling sensation in my mouth. A filling in my mouth in nothing to worry about as once the numbness wears off. However with an extraction I have been in mega pain. I'm supposed to be heading out next Friday as it's payday and were all supposed to head out and have some fun I hope I can do so without being stuck in the corner crying into my orange juice because my mouth hurts!

My Arm is stilling aching after yesterday but its a bit worse, im so glad I didnt decide to have it on the morning of the day I go on holiday- it would have been horrible

What a day it's been!

I threw my party which was good fun but there is a bright red stain on my carpet. All day I've been trying to get rid of it lol my neighbours have been helping by dropping by throughout the day with different stain removers but it won't shift! My mum and dad are gonna kill me. My plan is to move the coffee table over the stain though and hope they don't notice - that is the last resort.

I've also been cleaning around the house today and it's made me really happy. I've realised that I love cleaning!

I haven't tried Jif, Abigail. Thanks for the suggestion - I might get some of that tomorrow.

It's a sweet and sour sauce stain. We all bought Chinese and the sauce went on the carpet.

I've tried Vanish, fairy liquid, vinegar, some stain remover, some other stain remover added with shampoo.

Have any of your neighbours got a carpet cleaner? There's some info here (http://www.howtoremovecarpetstains.com/redstainscarpet.html) on removing red stains.

I'm having a wig slash tomorrow

Try Stardrops if still not gone Dave, that worked a treat on all sorts of stains we found in our house when cleaning it. Worked quite well.
Glad the rest of the party was good.

I am trying to sell all my old law textbooks, i had 45 and i am keeping 5 that will be useful for next year, so hopefuly at 1 quid, 2 quid a book, i should make a bit of money back, not as much as i paid for them but i have learnt my lesson, only second hand books for me in future, they are such a awaste of money otherwise.

THink i may persuede my dad to take me to IKEA, need a few things.

My dad noticed though and started getting angry so I told him I spilt tea and he believed me thankgod. Hopefully it'll dry up now or he'll keep moaning about it for weeks on end

Thanks for your suggestions guys.

Hope you have a good holiday as well Abbie

Good luck Tannie :)

I'm so tiredddd! Had to get up early today.
Had fire safety training in work at 10 this morning.. I actualyl enjoyed it though haha... I got to use fire extinguishers :p

That finished about 10:45 and I had to be in work for 12 so I dind't bother going home because I knew full well I wouldn't have got a parking space when Igot back so me and Adam went into town and he bought me a Starbucks :)... though I'm pretty sure it's all off again... unless it's just me, but if Im right... I'm most definately fed uyp of these games. It's unfair and it's hurting me too much.

I was only supposed to work util 4 but one of the girls didn't feel too good so I did her shift and she did mine basically so I was supposed to saty until 8 until I had a phonecall reminding me that we were supposed to go out for a meal for my Mums birthday today. Luckily my boss was nice and let me leav at 6 :)

Sooo tonight I went out with my Mum, Nan Aunty and our neighbour (Mums friend) to an Inidan Buffet, it was yummyyy :) so pretty good day.

Keep looking on the bright side - you got an unconditional offer for college so you're definetly in to study what you want! What will you be studying?

My dad got a Freeview + box today. We are getting rid of Sky. I am weirdly excited :)

Oh and my two friends have announced they are trying for a baby. They want me to be the godfather!
