Joe is attacked and has his tools stolen

Becky is busy preparing for Hayley’s return and despite Roy’s protestations that he doesn’t want a fuss, she has made a banner and even arranged some flowers for him to take to the airport. But the day doesn’t turn out quite as planned when Roy comes back from the airport alone – Hayley wasn’t on the flight.
David's worried about retaliation from the Windass family but he and Graeme decide to hide their concerns from Tina.
However, when Joe is roughed up by Gary and Len and has his tools stolen, they can’t keep the secret for much longer. When Joe reveals to Gail that he isn't insured, the enormity of what he's started hits home to David.
Darryl is full of ideas for the takeaway, oblivious to the fact that Dev has started legal proceedings to buy the shop from Jerry.
But Dev has other things on his mind when Tara arrives at the flat, upset having discovered that her ex-partner had been having an affair with her mother.
Elsewhere, Jason drowns his sorrows after getting an earful from Becky.
Hayley returns to the Street

A furious Tina sets off to see the Windasses with a worried David and Graeme in tow. She bangs on the door but gets no reply and the gang are about to leave when Graeme hits upon an idea for revenge.
The three teenagers proceed to rip the kitchen apart piece by piece and pile it in the garden.
As a parting shot, Graeme suggests they set it alight but just as the blaze gets going, the entire Windass clan return home. Will Tina, David and Graeme get away with it?
Everyone is waiting for Hayley as Roy desperately tries to find out what has happened to her. Just as they start to get worried, Hayley arrives back on the Street by bus. Everyone is delighted but Hayley seems overwhelmed by the welcome and pleads tiredness to go upstairs.
Jason tries to beg forgiveness from Becky by saying it with flowers but she’s having no of it and sends him packing – minus the flowers.
Emily is surprised to spot Jed Stone at the hospital. Remembering him as Minnie Caldwell’s lodger from 40 years ago, she stops to chat and it surprised to discover her was evicted from his home by an unscrupulous property developer.
Elsewhere, Molly is worried that Tyrone has been lying to her about going to the gym when she discovers his kit bag is empty.
Note that there is no episode on Wednesday (November 19) this week. The next episode is due to air on Friday, November 21.
Hayley has a shocking revelation for Roy

An uncertain Hayley sits alone in the café before going to sit on the bench outside the salon to contemplate her life. Roy believes it's jet lag making her distant but she confides in Sean that she is finding it difficult to adjust to being back. Roy finally gets to the bottom of his wife’s strange behaviour when she confesses to him that she wants to go back to Africa.
Becky tells Steve that her solicitor wants to see him at lunchtime but Steve is concerned about how he is going to get away without arousing suspicions with Michelle. Michelle catches him sneaking out of the pub and asks where he is going, forcing Steve to lie. But the cat is nearly let out of the bag by a careless Lloyd.
Gary and Len arrive on the Street looking for the Platts and spend the day observing the comings and goings from the house. Meanwhile, Graeme tries to figure out a way to get rid of the stolen car and then asks Ashley for a job.
Darryl discovers that Dev is buying the kebab shop from Jerry who has also decided to sell the house. Stunned, the pair watch a 'For Let' sign go up at the house and Darryl finds it hard to believe that Amber did not know what her dad was up to, reducing her to tears.
Elsewhere, Emily offers Jed a room at her house after he confesses he is dreading going to his new lodgings and Norris loses out on the Cliff Richard competition to a woman called Mary Taylor.

Roy is devastated as Hayley explains why she wants to leave him and go back to Africa. She claims she still loves him but Roy finds it hard to believe after everything she has said.
Hayley’s plans change, however, when she gets a visit from a fellow African volunteer. It soon becomes evident that Hayley’s reasons for wanting to go back to Africa might not just be about the place as she and Tilly discuss Olaf, another aid worker.
But when Tilly gets a suggestive text from Olaf, Hayley realises she has been foolish and tells Roy that she has no intention of leaving Weatherfield.
Amber is furious that Dev bought the kebab shop and ruined her 'friendship' with Darryl. When Tara tries to talk her round, Amber takes the ultimate revenge on her dad and tells Tara all about his affair with Nina.
Devastated, Tara demands some answers from Dev and he is forced to confess everything. Is this the end of his relationship with Tara?
Jason asks Becky on a date but she throws him out of the café and goes to find Steve to find out how he got on with her solicitor. Lloyd spots the pair of them together and is suspicious but when he quizzes Steve he gets an earful.
The Windasses do David and Graeme a favour when they steal the stolen car thinking it belongs to David.
