Long-standing Coronation Street star Michael Le Vell has hinted that his best plots are yet to come on the hit soap.

The actor, who has played Kevin Webster on the programme since 1983, revealed that he hopes to match his favourite storylines from the past in the coming years.

Le Vell named Kevin's ill-fated relationship with Alison Wakefield (Naomi Radcliffe) as one of the most memorable stories, adding that he hopes to be involved in more dramatic moments with his on-screen daughters Rosie (Helen Flanagan) and Sophie (Brooke Vincent).

"I've got many favourites, yeah," Le Vell told The Press Association. "Moving in with Hilda Ogden, and obviously when Alison and the baby died, that was amazing to play as an actor.

"There's been so many, and so many more to come I think now the girls are a little bit older."

Asked if he can match Kevin's skills as a mechanic, Le Vell replied: "I'm very good, yeah. I can change a wheel. That's it."

The star recently confirmed that he expects Rosie and Sophie to become Corrie legends in the future.

More Rosie stories then. :(

Well as much as I hate Rosie, no body stays on the soap from kids anymore!
